Find it hard to get in any way excited about this. a) Because it was always going to happen, and b) Ugh, Wembley.

Such a shame that we have all this upheaval in the period where we have our strongest and most settled team in a generation.

It's a craphole of a stadium, and it will be a real fight to get top four next year without WHL, but I've faith in the Poch and the boys.

On the plus side we will get rid of that Wembley record, and the boys might feel at home there finally, which could help in future semis and finals.

The exciting thing about this is that the club and contractors are confident that we'll have a shiny brand new stadium ready to move into in 14 months.

It's going to be worth the season away.

Levy:

“I am particularly proud that this announcement comes in a week that saw yet another Jobs Fair held by the Club - this time for Veterans of the Armed Forces - and that we can also mark this occasion with the announcement that we have to date delivered 1000 jobs as a result of our activities and investment".

Almost as many as Chel$ea players out on loan.............

It'll get them used to playing on a biggrr pitch ina larger venue. I'm sure there'll be a big difference between playing at the old WHL and the new one, and this will hopefully help the transition. Plus, we will hopefully see better home game performances in next year's CL.

Typical that we finally have a team that could win the league but are going to be disrupted by have no to play at Wembley for the season (I hope it's only one). However, on the plus side, if we were the Tottenham of 10 years ago we would probably get relegated had this happened.

Anyone know what this will mean for ticketing?

Will there be extra season tickets or will it just be easier and cheaper to get tickets?

I know we've known it for a long time, but this feels monumental.

Can't believe WHL will be gone in less than a month

To be honest I've never doubted for a moment that the new stadium is on schedule.
