Best was the chelsea arfa arfa game in 2002 by far.
Worst either man u 3 5 or losing 4 0 to Blackburn end of season 2003

Most boring game was a 0 0 vs mboro one sunday when a bloke actually fell asleep in the crowd.

Worst individual performance dave mcewen vs soton. You could find the best 11 players on this forum and at least one would be a better footballer than him.

Best individual performance dalmat vs birmingham I think it was 2003, 4. Absolutely unplayable when he wanted to be

My best: 3-1 vs Inter. Unbelievable atmosphere and performance. The euphoria when the third went in was simply incredible.
My worst: 0-5 against Liverpool. Can't believe I paid to witness that shower of shite. We were torn to shreds - could have been 7.

Only about ten or so to choose from, but the worst was one game where I had to get up at 6, get a 3 hour coach from Bristol to London, make my way to the ground, watch us play badly and lose to a late winner to Wigan, then immediately make the round trip back to Bristol. Got home at 11 PM. Fun day.

Best was the 5-0 win over Newcastle in the 'Harry we want you to stay' game. We were riding high in the league, Harry had just won his court case, then the England job became available. The atmosphere was electric. Plus I managed to piss off a load of people in the West Stand by being drunk and falling over a lot, which was nice.

Home to AC Milan. Incredible night.

Also my first trip to the lane... 4-2 win over Newcastle with a teddy hat trick.

Yeh that 5-0 against Liverpool was terrible. Never liked the AVB period whatsoever, it wasn't just that we where shit towards the end, it was much much worse than that, for a club with our reputation, we were boring, fucking boring.

The Santini and Ramos periods are
Memories I think I purposefully deleted apart from the cup win obviously.

Loved it under Jol, Redknapp and obviously our current Pochettino. Good football, good laugh.

Best : either of the the 5-1 semi final wins versus the scums

Worst : Monday December 18th 2000, Vieira equalises for the scum in the 89th minute and we draw 1-1 (Then me and my pals fail to get into Eros to drown our sorrows as it's already at capacity). Not a good night for me.

Actually, the scum clinching the league at our place. That was horrible

Worst times as a Spurs fans.

Arse winning the league at our place.

Chelsea winning the CL and knocking us out of the competition despite finishing 4th.

Actually being in a relegation fight of sorts, it's an eye opener. Although that is ages ago.

The AVB/Sherwood period, never felt so disconnected with the club.

Best times as a Spurs fan.

Our CL run under Redknapp, what fun. Milan game was special.

Pochettino playing and developing our young players and bringing a real sense of unity with the current team. How we took Arse apart recently was a joy to behold.

Obviously our 2 CC wins in 99 and 08

Sorry I know this is not just WHL.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Best and slightly unheralded performance I've ever seen at the lane. Berbatov against Bolton, when we went down to ten men really early on. Long ball after long ball from us and every single time it stuck to his feet. Probably means nothing to most people but it was the most amazing individual performance I've seen from a centre forward.

Too many 'best' times to mention over the years since September 1963 v Wolves, my 1st game.

Worse time? Easy. Sitting in the Park Lane and welling up watching chest compressions being carried out on Fabrice Muamba.

I saw most of the beatings described elsewhere in this thread, but I never, ever thought I'd witness such a thing on a football pitch.

Like those around me, including 2 of my own boys, we all thought he'd gone. Along with all the good stuff, I'll spare a moment and think of Fabrice on Sunday.

My best memory from the Lane, the Anderlecht final and penalty shoot out. The atmosphere that night was truly unforgettable and amazing. I didn't tell my parents I had an O level exam the next morning as I suspected I might not have been allowed to go. The re was no way in the world I was missing that one. Got back at stupid o clock and turned up bleary eyed with barely a couple of hours sleep. Failed it but have never regretted it as I would have done the same thing a million times over. They never really knew the real reason my grade was so appalling.

Worst memory, the 87 2nd leg League Cup semi final at home to Arsenal, felt sick to the stomach walking back down the Tottenhasm high rd towards Seven Sisters. I can still see those gooners celebrating as I stood literally right behind the goal in the Paxton road end.....awful.

@For the love of Spurs

The relegation season and the season in the old div 2 didn't bother me at all.

It was an experience I wouldn't ever wish to see repeated but back then it was just something that seemed
Inevitable.

Interesting to here fans that sore that (followed Spurs since about 1990), I suppose now the money would make it a total disaster, particularly when we are building a new stadium.

Suppose you got to see some clubs you don't normal see.

My best and worst moments at WHL both came in 2008. The 5-1 v Arsenal in the League Cup is the best, of course, and the 0-1 v Hull that ended up being Ramos' last home game in charge is by far the worst.

The last 15 minutes of the Arsenal singing "Spurs are on their way to Wembley" on repeat is by a distance the best atmosphere I've ever experienced at any event, football or otherwise.

The entire Hull match, at least the entire second half, is the least I've ever cared about a Spurs match. I just wanted it (both the game and the Ramos era) to be over.

Honorable mention to a 2-1 over Man City in 94/95 which was my second ever game and my first win (the first game was a loss to Wimbledon the same season). I was six, right behind the goal where I think we scored both our goals. I don't remember the details any more but that was really special for a little kid and I'll remember that forever.

Best: As a youngster watching Hoddle, Ardiles et al. Also beating Arsenal twice in the 80's.
Beating Arsenal 2-1 in 1998 or 1999. Jose Dominguez beating Keown twice and stopping to let him catch up and nutmeg him again only for Keown to kick him up in the air. Didn't even wait to see the red card, just walked off.
3-3 v Liverpool, Klinsmanns second coming, he and Ginola scoring crackers.
v Sunderland Took my son to his first game and we won, Jan even had a goal disallowed for offside, from inside our own half.

Worst - Losing to Newcastle 3-1 one cold Wednesday night, Laurent Robert destroyed us. Only time I have ever seen us lose in God knows how many games, and the only time I took my wife.

Losing 4-1 to Newcastle with Martins scoring a screamer at the end sticks in my mind for some reason.

Iv'e always remembered that game as one of the worst performances, if not THE worst performance I have seen at the Lane. Right in the midst of that stale period after the League Cup win under Ramos...I didnt think much of it in a larger sense at the time because the glow of the cup run was still there...but fuck me we were awful.

Also I think the Martins screamer was a 3-2 loss under Jol, where we shat all over them for 90 minutes and still contrived to lose the game (unless he scored another screamer in this game as well?).

Best game and moment beating Wolves in the UEFA cup final and Alan Mullery's amazing headed goal. 55000 fans and winning a major European trophy at the Lane surely can't be beaten. Worst game the second leg of the semi final (league cup) against Chelsea, I think the same year,. Another 50000+ crowd. 4-4 on aggregate, Spurs on top, 90 minutes just about up. Alan Hudson miss-hits a fee kick and instead of booting it clear, Cyril Knowles tries to trap it and it trickles under his foot and over the line. Cue silence and despair.
