If we could walk away from this window with Sessegnon, De Ligt, Under and Lemar we are so set going forward.

I probably question the need to Barkley but for 20m or under I'd take the gamble. I think we might need a RB with a little experience for a year but outside of that I think we're pretty good

If Walker does leave which is looking likely, I think we need to bring in a first choice RWB.

As well as Trippier has done, I wouldn't feel comfortable going into next season with him as #1.

He's a good full back with great delivery, but we're at our very best when we utilise the pace of our wing backs.

We need to be strengthening to push on from this season and going from Walker and Trippier to Trippier and an understudy will be going into next season, weaker in that position.

Was JJ responding to this "If we could walk away from this window with Sessegnon, De Ligt, Under and Lemar we are so set going forward"?

And therefore, inadvertently confirming interest in the other two? Sessegnon and Lemar? :p

Under De light neither happening

Appreciate the information, but I have to say that, in my view, this represents a severe blow to Spurs...

...Community's burgeoning pun fest. I mean Sessegnon is great and all that, but what in hell's name am I meant to do with a surname like that? Oh well, fingers crossed for Costa now, I suppose. His name has real potential.

Agreed - there were loads of Airplane/Dee-Lite opportunities...

I'm totally taking that JJ quote as confirmation that we are in for Lemar, even though it most likely wasn't what he was implying!

As for Under and De Ligt, these are the kinds of potential wonderkids we need to be looking at, the kind that Monaco and Dortmund snap up, however I'm sure there are plenty of other options for us, and for once it's probably worth us adding some more experienced talents, as after all our team is so strong we can't offer as much development time. Hopefully we get at least Sessegnon on this side of things.

I completely agree with your second paragraph.

I'm not going to infer that we are in for Lemar however.
