The Rashford thing is as saying we won't sell

I don't think we have a chance with Douglas Costa. Not because we are not big enough, but because he will go to whoever pays him more. Happy to be proven wrong though

If Janssen leaves, I hope we get the Sampdoria kid, that looks very good
I'm picturing westerns.
Care to enlighten?

Remember reading United want Griezmann and Bellotti. Only if that happens, they would even think of this swap deal.
If this is our position, no chance this swap is happenning

Not a chance Utd would sell Rashford - though I would welcome him with open arms as I think he is quite a special talent even if that meant losing Dier.

I'd love Costa and am trying to remain positive that this summer will see us recruit one player that could go straight into our best 11.

Rashford - I just can't see it, and as much as I think we could upgrade Dier on the right side of the 3 CB's, I don't want us sell him as he's still a very important player.

[edit] and we don't need anything to upset Dele.

More like, some guy likes Rashford, and doesn't rate Janssen or Dier.

I think that we've just upped the ante personally. I doubt Rashford would want to leave, he's a Manc after all, but it's the kind of "right back atcha" move that I love to see.
I would hope we've told them that's the deal breaker. If you really want Dier then you're going to have to work hard convincing Rashford to come to us on our terms. If he doesn't like what we're offering, then the deal is off, unless you are prepared to make up the shortfall in his wage demands.

Take it or leave it Utd, we're in no rush to sell a player we value so highly.

Dier been key player for Poch & us in last 3 years ,playing multiple positions giving us the flexibility...Feel we shouldnt swap him even for Rashford.

I'd love it if we said that to Manchester United about their Dier interest. Why should we sell one of our brightest young stars. They'd never even consider selling us Rashford, why should we consider selling Dier?

Personally I doubt it's true but it's the perfect way to tell them we aren't to be messed with IMHO.

gilly on simb: Jannsen gone apparently. Poch not remotely interested in keeping. Dier can go only if they give us rashford. This costa thing has legs. Love to have him.

Here or somewhere else I think Janssen will come into his own and historically I think Spurs would keep and develop a talent like him. But if Poch has decided that's not good enough for this squad then we have truly upped our ambitions and mindset to those of a larger club.

Not surprising on Vince. The Dier thing is essentially just a nicer way of telling United to fuck off. They wont give us Rashford and we wont give them Dier.

True story - when Utd asked about Modric a few years back (over a bottle of wine) Levy asked for Ronaldo in exchange
