Salah and one flank and Mane on the other could potentially be devastating.

Quality player.

Both left wingers

Yeah, but Liverpool's season crashed and burned this year because Mane went to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Now they've spent nearly £40m to provide themselves with cover to stop this from hurting them again.

Super plan. Can't see a flaw in it at all. Well played, Liverpool. :cautious:

They'd get smashed all the time if they set up like that.

Not worried about them at all. Klopp isn't fit to lace Poch's boots.

He's a good manager and the board are backing him with money to spend on good players.

No need to pretend they aren't a threat. This isnt RAWK after all.

I'm not worried about them at all. You're always in awe of them, though, so not surprised you're dampening your briefs.

Hope you're k, btw. X

That is the silver lining. Losing two of your best attacking players midway through the season is a pretty huge problem whichever way you look at it.

Plenty to admire about Liverpool under Klopp, young Michael. I have no problem recognising a decent football team when I see one, even if they do happen to be our rivals.

They are buying players, we are finding it tough to keep our own players happy. I doubt we will buy a player of sahlas quality his window.

The same was being said last year and we still finished above them by ten points, scoring 10 more and conceding far less. We aren't suddenly going to become shithouses.

Whilst I'm sure you've tracked his progress at Roma and watched him week in and out, we already have 4 attacking players better than him in Kane, Eriksen, Dele and Son. Their attacking options are faster than ours, but they're not better.

I reckon they'll slug it out for 5th next year, with United. Though, a lot depends on how we cope with the move to Wembley.

Difficult to tell how well they will compete with the added burden of European football next season and until they can build a defence that is capable of conceding less than 40 goals. To be really competing for honours they will probably need a defence that concedes less than 35 if not 30, and to achieve that they will probably need to go out and buy a whole new defence.

Two clubs conceded less than 40 goals last season and two less than 30.

United were second to us in defence and they have still gone and added Lindelof to make them even more titghter at the back they also played more games than any other side once they start scoring they should be looking to be top four.

No we're not, but with Wembley it evens things up a bit. Just saying we need to be making a few top quality signings too.

Yeah, with their squad I actually think they should be finishing top 4 easily. Something is off with them at the moment, though. Almost like they have a total **** in charge or something
