We don't need an overhaul like many of the other teams do.

And maybe that's the point with Poch. If we don't need a major overhaul, and want to bring in one or two, then Pochettino may be wondering why he can't get the target(s) he wants - and I mean his first choices. This must be incredibly frustrating.

We hear far too many of these rumblings about Levy for it not to be true. No smoke without fire I say.

I don't think 2 in (excluding replacing players) is bad, as a squad we only lack 1-2 quality players in certain areas, I don't see the need to buy lots. Just a few well targeted purchases.

Roller coaster at full throttle. Standard for this time of year. I predict a signing by next weekend to calm everyone. Then another meltdown in three weeks time.

Info doesn't surprise me at all.

It's common practice to allow this sort of info out in a domain where you know it will get back to the person you want it to.

Probably a well thought out leak to get your point across.

It wouldn't damage the relationship between the pair in my opinion. Keeps them both on their toes and proves they actually care.

Dangerous game to play with Levy. Every Manager/Head Coach who has tried it out (Jol, Harry) have been forced out.

I think it's unlikely that this came from Poch. He was much more direct about his displeasure at Southampton. I don't think it's his style to surreptitiously release a leak like this.

This reads more like an agent who is reading into the situation. He had a player Poch wanted, Poch and player frustrated that a deal could not be done.

Pochettino has warned repeatedly that our squad isn't strong enough to cope with the rigors of Champions League and English Premier League football. Just look at the quotes in this article after we were dumped out of CL last season: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tottenham-boss-mauricio-pochettino-admits-9314986

Anyone who thinks he's going to just accept selling to buy in regards to transfer spending, and a hard cap on wages for the rest of the decade until ENIC has used club revenue to help build a debt free stadium that they'll 100% own, is deluding themselves.

Pochettino has major ambition, and he could have his choice of top clubs or national teams. Yes, he's repeatedly talked about Spurs as a project and on the rise, but when you have nearly 80 million dollars of fresh revenue coming in from improved television deals and Champions League football, he's naturally going to want to spend a lot of that on building a squad capable of competing in all competitions.

I've mentioned this before, but A&C warned repeatedly last summer that there were issues behind the scenes with securing Poch's targets, which some people wrote-off. Here is what he wrote subsequently after we lost to Leverkusen in November.

Had it not been for the massive dragging of heels our summer signings would have been a LOT more acceptable and sensible. Levy panicked when he got it wrong and realised what the consequences were going to be, think about it, how Levylike is it for him to make a last minute signing and STILL pay over the top? Its completely against type. He shat himself.

And Poch stated he wanted his summer dealings done early..........Things weren't right at chez lane

I still say that it wouldn't surprise me if we were looking for a new manager come the end of the season.

Given how definitive A&C was then and now, I think people need to take this seriously. Don't forget who Poch's mentor is. Bielsa has no problem just getting up and quitting when he feels he's being mislead by management, and while Poch is nowhere near as volatile, he's someone who has shown in his handling of players that he has no problems taking a hardline if he believes he's in the right.

2 in will be ok as long as Rose, Lamela and Winks get back sooner rather than later. When September comes round and we've got Champions League matches and League cup matches on top of our PL matches; that's when we'll know if we did enough in the transfer window.

Also with our boys making up nearly 50% on the England team, there will be WC qualifiers in the Autumn too. I know this applies to most teams and key players on international duty but I have this overwhelming fear that if injury is going to happen to our players - it'll be on International duty

There is always opinion in a narrative. Regardless of the wording, unless the source is poch or his close family and one or more of the players there is opinion there is conjuncture. That is not to say that the source isn't good, but the source has opinions or the source is spreading that opinion.
In this case there is one opinion. One.

Jol and harry got sacked because they criticised the transfer dealings? News to me.
