I can see this one happening if United table a bid of say £60m and Dier starts to play up.
Got to say that I'm the exact opposite and can't see this one happening, especially with Walker all but sold.

Well, you must realise that "another day" realistically will arrive not before you've got two years left on your contract. If the club needs you, like in Dier's case.Is it really? You improve your immediate financial position, and wait for another day to see if a bigger move is out there.
Seems rather normal and rational imo
Since when? Situations change all the time. Last summer Dier was worth less than he is this summer. Just the nature of the beast. I can see where Dier might want better terms now, based on his value, than last summer.Well, you must realise that "another day" realistically will arrive not before you've got two years left on your contract. Oh this crap again. If you have/had a boss, and your boss said "would you want a better contract?", would you response be a) yes please or b) No, thank you. I'll rather stick with today's salary for now, if that's OK with you".Then it's hard to explain why he signed the 5-year contract last September.
His head was turned last year but persuaded to stay with a new contract. Then it's hard to explain why he signed the 5-year contract last September.
Welllllll....
iirc there was a rather large billboard of a certain welsh wizard being banded about in NY no less, in a spurs top, shortly before he retired to Spain. Err I mean moved...
It's not crap. With every new contract come new longer responsibility. You just know you are not completely free to change clubs.Oh this crap again. But then again, it is crap for two reasons. It's not crap. With every new contract come new longer responsibility. You just know you are not completely free to change clubs.
Of course he's desperate to move to United. This is how our football media works:I keep seeing reports in the media that Dier is "desperate" to move to UTD. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this, or just the usual media bollocks?
Is that a packed lunch under Harry's arm?
Absolutely, next thing will be some red top and/or low grade media outlet claiming that Man Utd are bigger and far more important than football itself......Of course he's desperate to move to United. This is how our football media works:
Dier is desperate to move to United.
Alli is desperate to move to United.
Kane is desperate to move to United.
Pochettino is desperate to move to United.
Messi is desperate to move to United.
Ronaldo is desperate to move to United.
I'm desperate to move to United.
You're desperate to move to United.
@Archibald&Crooks' mum is desperate to move to United.
