Bucket of salt need here obviously;

Posted on RedCafe by "OohAhhMartial":

"Just heard from a guy with connections at some London hotels that Barkley is staying at the hotel that players about to sign for Spurs usually do, and Cancelo at one that Chelsea do. Not exactly news I know as they're both strongly linked but seems imminent anyway. Barkley seems a bit of a gamble to me. Cancelo an interesting buy for Chelsea's system. "

Wonder if it's the same room as N'koudou?

Probably has a carving in the wall ; GNK woz ere Aug 2016. Please help me.

Everybody knows Levy sends incoming players to David Pleat's AirBnB, where they are served microwaved filter coffee and sardine sandwiches every morning.

I wonder how comically bad this window will turn out to be?
I wonder how COMMERCIALLY bad this window will turn out to be?
Yes, we do have a phenomenal first XI but we all know we are thin as a squad. If we hit injuries we could be in trouble this season.
This, coupled with losing WHL advantage, may affect league position, CL qualification etc and in turn cause unrest in the squad for the vultures to move in 2018 Transfer windows.
Unless the naming rights for new WHL are signed and sealed already, the above scenario, which is plausible/possible or likely (delete as you see fit), will have a huge affect on what we figure we achieve for the above rights.
If this figure isn't then high enough, our best players may need to be sold to fill to hole.
Worst case scenario/pessimistic?
Of course it could happen if we signed 3 or 4 players but I'd rather not be blaming the lack of signifying in this window if it happens.

We are going to end up with Charles Barkley at the rate we are going...

Poch: "Who is this 'Round Mound of Rebound'?"

Levy: "That's Barkley. I know you have been going on and on about Ross Barkley, well we couldn't quite get that one over the line, so I bought the next best thing - Charles Barkley. I think they are distant cousins - though Charles is like the black sheep of the family. Plus, since he is American, there is huge marketing potential!"

Could be. Or how about a different Everton player? This Aaron Lennon?

Hopefully the fact that targets are falling by the wayside pushes Levy into tying up a deal quickly. I would think that Everton would rather sell to Chelsea as they probably see us as more of a direct rival.

I wouldn't be too sure of that after Stones and Lukaku, don't think these clubs are on great terms.
