I just don't get it.
This site was so much more fun before.
In example. Every day for the last 15 transfer-windows I have read AC opening post (wich I have enjoyed) wich is everything from a book long made up stories of BSODL too stories of your mrs.
And misunderstand me correctly- but it's probably the most off-topic shit on the entire internet!
It's like you are luring people to talk utter shite- for then to take out your 12 inch banstick
Then the usual suspects gets to carry on with the same utter bollocks, but some posters gets your cock up the arse before thay have posted.
And then when people actually have ITK - you go north-korea with this need to know who their source is, in example when igjedi started to post- you started almost threatening him not to post before he had revealed his source- and to me, it's starting to look more and more like an obsession to know more then the usual poster then anything else.
The WUM's will soon enough be figured out anyway, and by this regime the only thing that happends is people who have ITK goes on another site.
This site like every other on the web makes money on clicks- and if people here have a need to talk just plain shit about todays transfers rumors- then why just dont allow it in the daily thread? Or at least make a own talk shite daily tread? The marked want it, so why not satisfy it?
I for one find the important ITK in the RO anyway, and klnd of gets amused with many of the posters here- i rather read some (shitty) joke here then read the same news rewritten in the standard press.
If people just need the juicy stuff- well then just read the post with the ratings, but I just don't get why we can't have a arena for just talk shite. It would also be positive for the journos lurking here to get the latest spurs news, and confuse the shit out of them, so they don't fuck up deals by running stories in the tabloids they find here, because they can't seperate the shit from the clit.
And at last- I LOVE this site, and the mods do a fantastic job in running it, i even have become 30% gay beacuse of AC 12 inch stick- so please don't take what I'm saying the wrong way-
And Ofcourse the offensive and moaning-repeat shit will Still have to be moderated like i.e yankspurs most post (sorry yanky, nothing personal)
But it's a daily thread that starts fresh every day- why not just let people roll with it?
More clicks, more readers, more posters, more fun...the members (pun not intended) here will manage.

I personally don't see how JJ has even been burnt at all as it were. All he said was it was close but not done. And it didn't get done. I think even mentioning POTL/Willian in reference to JJ with Balde is wrong as they are completely different - POTL said it was 100% done and when it didn't happen that didn't sit well with his slightly puffed up internet persona that he had adopted .
JJ I think is being a little tough on himself, because as you say, he is very careful with his info and never ever jumps the gun with predictions, but the reality is that over the years we have had a large quantity of ITK saying things are close with player X and Y for the player to then not happen. It's just normal that things pan out that way sometimes.
I agree with your overall sentiment and would add the summation that this just isn't a big deal at all and is a frequent occurrence in the ITK world. JJ's own reaction to it was a consequence of the fact that he is the best going basically and never likes to jump the gun

It's one thread with rules. If you wanna go off topic just start a thread in chat or go in the player threads which are pretty much anything goes. PRoblem comes when someone posts ITK and you dont see it because there are hundreds of off topic posts debating Trippier as a wb.

But a couple of points......You have over a hundred arenas to talk shit. The players threads.
For every poster who feels how you do I bet there's a half a dozen who hardly (and in many cases ever) post but just want to read about the ITK and everyone's opinions of the ITK. So we have this ONE thread which is moderated and which we ask the rules be adhered to.
And yeah, we used to let people roll with it a lot more but we're paying the bill for that now because people just don't know when to give it a rest and that is when there's ITK that gets missed and ignored becuase a handful of people are treating us to their views on the merits of 5-3-2 etc etc
Imagine for a minute this thread is everything you ask for. I can guarantee, someone else will have a similar pop because it isn't how they like it any more.
So if you're frustrated i'm pretty sure it doesn't come anywhere near my levels of frustration because as hard as we try I know we'll never keep everyone happy.
