Exactly the type of player that fits the profile of what we would look for but that reported price tag seems very unlike us even with the new economics taking place in the sport.

@Archibald&Crooks if Deadley's ITK turns out to be right (I assume he's told you what it is) does that mean he still has to verify his source? Or will that earn him his ITK Spurs?

Verifying is more than just "tell us your source". Any WUM could claim to be mates with Levy.

Instead, it's about convincing us you're legit and there are a million little things that help to build up that picture. The best way to go about it is to start telling us stuff in private. If that includes where the info is coming from then great, that helps a lot as we can cross reference bits we hear from others but if they really can't name a source you should still be able to convince us if you're kosher.

Did the hertyid quotes on the Rose situation make it over here? Thought it might be worth posting in the itk thread as it will get lost in the Rose one as that's moving so fast.

Apparently the quotes are taken out of context. But still he's an idiot for putting himself in that position twice over the summer.



Facts are:

He signed a new contract last year which doubled his wages.

He is a Spurs player until August 2021.

If he leaves it will be for enormous money. And it certainly won't be this summer.

Rafa was a legend but he was an injury-prone impact player who couldn't break into the first team at Madrid and moved for £8m on deadline day. Rafa never lasted more than an hour and his career peaked at Spurs. He was a genius and I love him, but I'm not sure Poch would even sign him now. He isn't fit enough.

Rose is talking like a fan who has played too much Champo and watched SSN every day for 6 months.

Poch won't be happy.



But still, the quotes are way out of context. Interview lasted over an hour. Sun article is about three minutes of Rose quotes.
