It would have been more worrying if they had told his agent they did want to sell him. Imagine the uproar from their fans. Would be more worried if they had been told they won't sell him.

I moved jobs so not so close anymore but you are right. If it was a bulk payment you would do that then and there, but more likely we do an advantageous structure which gets us a much better rate than the market (google boosted forward plus).

Traditionally we were quite smart about our FX, but in today's world where we have the cash in the bank - I just don't know.
