When I see Sess , pace is not the first thing that jumps out. Sure he has got pace . But IMO his best attribute is his intelligence & his decision making on edge or inside the box. The runs he makes & be available is just like Dele. His finishing at 17 is incredible as well.
Exactly. Such an intelligent footballer for his age.

Means we could go into next summer with a strategy of retaining our players and signing another CB (if we're playing 3 at the back) and a CF (if anyone's available).

Quality!!

No brainer this one. A few good mates of mine are Fulham fans, one said too me they remember Patrick Roberts and Moussa Dembele who are at Celtic and while all 3 play different positions he reckons Sessesgnon's talent and ceiling is higher than those two. Said it's hard to believe a 17 year old can be that good.

Best news when he signed a new deal with them, although he thought even with that In a year or two he would be playing for a top 4 side.

This is obviously just a Fulham mate's opinion but for us to be going balls in to get him early means the scouts and Poch agree. It's a lot of cash but if he becomes the next Bale it is money well spent.

Imo Edwards would have made a difference
What would have made a difference is a fast, technically decent WF. Not Njie or GNK but actual quality. Someone who could beat a man on the ball to unsettle them. Conte has played us brilliantly twice now because his team sits deep and shuts down space. You need a quality player to open up space by beating a man with the ball to force another player out to you. That's not Sessegnon or Edwards yet, nor should it be.

And how much have you seen of Edwards??

What makes you think a untried teenager would have made a difference, when the likes of Kane and Dele couldn't??

Stupid desperate comment from someone that knows sweet fa about the premier league

Agree, the amount of times we won the ball in their midfield was crazy, but we had no pace in the transition to make them pay.
