The long shot one does worry me as it does sound like Martial, or at the very least the WF. I worry that we are too ambitious and then are left scrambling around trying to get our next target.

Obviously we've got to get half these players, and they've got to work out, but how refreshing to see not only the best team I can remember, but getting on for a whole team of next generation players being lined up and eased in when the time is right. Sanchez, Foyth, Sessegnon, Sancho mixed in with the likes of Alli, Winks, Onomah, CCV, Walker-Peters, perhaps Edwards too. We might have lost to 'them' yesterday, but even so I wouldn't swap the Spurs of today for any other across the past thirty years. The media can get excited about huge transfers, flap their gums about our need to win something, or the Wembley hoodoo, but the chairman and manager are doing things that are probably the envy of ninety-five percent of fans up and down the country.

What are you worrying about, we still have Sissoko.

Some great updates, thanks guys. The loss to Chelsea could end up being a blessing in disguise if it turned out to be a call to action.
The loss won't have effected anything. Clubs decide and work on targets months before the window opens.

Reading the replies of Rose possibly going and not having adequate LB cover it seems our movements so far regarding Sanchez and Foyth means it likely a permanent move to a back 3? In that case surely not so much of an issue (as we also have Dier, Davies being able to offer cover?)

I do wonder what effect doing deals so late in the window has on the fees. Isn't it likely that the selling club will hold out for more, provided they don't want to sell?

I'm no blind follower of Levy but think when targeting players with a year left or from relegated clubs which he often does he probably gets a better deal by waiting more often than not. But unlikely by a margin that justifies the target having no preseason. Now we know he bought Sissoko and at that price and that late we also know how the transfer committee really works, ie Poch might have the final say but when offered a choice of France's right winger or no one most of us would say yes.

One concerning element of the itk iare differences of 3 to 5 mill being vital to the Club at the moment. Well, I'd buy only the players the coach wants and one less if necessary to fund his priorities.

My thoughts also, I'm so pleased the window closes in 10 days! Enjoying the updates from Hercules, Trix & Gards but I can't handle all the positivity...very un-Spurs like
Remember that as much as today's ITK has been positive, until things are done and being tweeted by @SpursOfficial, there's plenty of space between cup and lip for a traditional Spurs-style slip. Historically we are nothing if not experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, so despite the good vibes keep it uppermost in mind that we're not over the line with any of these deals yet!

So you're saying I should pull my pants back up then? :(

its great to have positive ITK but I won't be getting my hopes up. RS is for all his potential and hype is only a championship player with no top flight experience, Sancho has no first team experience and i can't see Man Utd selling Martial especially to us (he's scored in both games this season)

What if Rose has made his intentions clear to Poch that he wants to leave this season? I love Danny but if he really has his heart set on leaving, and we can get one of the best young wing forwards in the world along with Sessegnon to compensate the loss. Then I'm sorry but I take that deal everytime.

We all know Davies is unspectacular, but he's also defensively solid. With Sessegnon waiting in the wings, he'll have the chance to develop without being pressured into being first choice.
Plus with a potential front 4 of Eriksen, Alli, Kane, and Martial, I doubt we'll have an issue with attacking flair. Martial would absolutely rip up wembley, and get us 15 goals easy with Eriksen assisting him.

I do not know if our Daniel always knew, or if he plays poker. If he does I would not want to play him. Seems he is winning on targets we thought we lost out on. Lemar is a no-go, so no dreamers.

I do not believe we will be disappointed. Poch expected 4 including GK, but that has increased. Fees all but agreed on most, and medical/s completed long while ago on 2. I will put my nad on the line that Ross will be our player (that part opinion) and not the chavs.

Cannot believe I am saying this. BSoDL brigade I can hear yah,

Let me guess the Things you said about Steve Hitchen have some baring on this in terms of his work? :)

Understand that people has lost a bit confidence in Rose. But he's such a good footballer and left back. He's a train going forward giving the team so much. I would be very reluctant to lose him, even if it would be for Martial who's for me is a dream signing.
