Two questions. Why was he initially releuctant to come to us and why are PSG so keen for him to go to us specifically?

At this point, PSG doesn't view anyone as a threat.
They just took on Barca and got Neymar and sounds like they are going to take Mbappe off Monaco when Real were interested in him all summer.

Hope we get this over the line, I like Trippier as a RB in a 4 but as a wing back he lacks the power and dynamism to be at the level we need. This is issue is accentuated when we have Davies on the other flank

I tried watching the periscope video, but it was a hard watch before they got into anything controversial. Aurier seemed pretty disengaged with the whole thing, really, not that it's an excuse if what he was saying was all that bad.
Is there a transcript/translation anywhere? I did try and search for one, but any search on Aurier at the moment just turns up 10 pages of links to gossip about his move. The reports at the time I've found say that he dished out some to Blanc - was there anything else?

Reason he's that cheap is because of his problems off the pitch! Hes a good player though bags of pace and strength a great alternative to trippier (Similar to Walker)
