Not sure where all this "space" that Walker would be running into apparently is. Burnley are sitting deep and trying to hit us on the break.

There's no space on the flanks to run into. They've parked the bus, we're going to have to play through them.

You do realise that a burst of acceleration can help playing through teams.

It's not just the pass, it's quick movement that can draw the space.

Burnley are well up for this, we can expect this at every single home game from teams because it's Wembley.

*edit* Not sure what's so funny about this? Most teams would turn up at the lane and already be resigned to defeat, when they are rolling up at Wembley it feels like equal ground, it's going to have an effect, not sure how anyone can deny that.

We are looking a shadow of the team we were at the end of last season already, again, because our wing backs are not spreading the play and going to the line.

It's not All the wing backs (Though Davies is poor going forwards), they are the same as the end of last year, the ones that beat Arsenal and ManU and tonked everyone, with Trippier equalling Walkers output in a third of the game time, it's our pedestrian build up through midfield

CM2 ball transition is not creative and too slow, unless Eriksen drops into it. Speed of passing is more important than speed of foot imo.

The team will click, but it should be clicking at The start of the season not a month into it, If we want to be title contenders.

Burnley have set up to take a point.

Anyone know much about Oakley-Boothe?

Obviously making up the numbers today, but I'd be interested in the reasoning behind his inclusion over other more established youngsters (e.g. Edwards).

So what do you believe is causing it? What are we doing different from last season?

Would nice just to see their goalie have to make a save, think Courtouis had one decent save to make all match, this guy so far none, patethic, can't score if we can't shoot.
