If we ended up with a coutinho situation ,personally wouldn't be surprised.Just think he has that sort of behaviour in him.The happy smiley wavey dele of a season ago ,has definitely vanished.Moody walks off the pitch when subbed, weird no celebration when scored against burnley, didn't even send a well done tweet last night.Saw some shots of him out clubbing the other week till 5 AM,seemed to have a massive entourage. For me the tell tail signs are there of someone getting caught up in the fame game.Hes just a different animal to Kane.Im not saying he is a bad egg in any way,I just think he has a lot of hangers on and probably got all sorts of voices in his ear.
Fuck you super (****) agents
That is all.
If I'm brutally honest here i don't really see Dele with us for the long term, at the end of the day if he wants to leave at some point then he'll leave, regardless of what agent he's with...the kids got the world at his feet.
Id love him to stay and become a legend for us, but this is football.
My sentiments exactly. Not taking away what he has done for us, especially his instinctive positioning and late runs for his goals, but I still believe that he is over hyped. I cannot prove it but I doubt we would have beaten Dortmund had Dele not been suspended.I think he has an awful lot to improve in his overall game before everyone gets over-excited.
Yes, he delivers goals and assists at an impressive rate, but at bigger clubs he'd soon have the crowd on his back for all the 'Bambi on Ice' antics in between.
He's certainly miles behind Eriksen in terms of getting everything right for 90 minutes - I'd be more concerned about losing Christian than Dele.
Also this!If i am brutally honest we didn't appear to miss him last night. The list of players wanting out of Spurs over the past is a long one with Carrick, Keane, Berbatov, Modric, Sheringham, Walker and Bale to name a few.
I really don't care to be honest, and if a player does not want to be here, and i trust Levy to screw every penny out of the buying club. Does anyone seriously think we have missed Walker? I for one think we have improved in that department.
Time will tell, but Levy is the last Chairman any footballing agent would want to take on over the future of a player.
they probably had prepared those shit articles about the "wembley haunt" before the game, and they were pissed off after our winMedia stirring shit again. Everything about Spurs is turned into a negative by them.
We're upsetting the elite, it just shows we're relevant and they're worried about what we can achieve.
He would've noticed that the result last night means he's not key to us playing well, i don't have a problem with his body language personally, and i think if anything had changed with his attitude Poch will have no hesitation in dropping him for a bit...so while he's still being picked to start when available i think people are reading a bit too far into the whole attitude thing.Contentious post, but did we miss Alli last night?
I'm not sure what he would have brought to the team.
Someone in another thread said that his attitude seems to have changed off the ball. Much more arm waving, seems a bit negative etc etc.
The poster was lambasted for it, with plenty of WTF!! ratings.
But I have to say, I agree.
I'm probably wrong, but I see him turning into a bit of a prima donna if the current trend continues.
I think his body language has changed a bit, and he's believing his own hype a bit too much.
Personally, from what I've seen this season, he's been a bit of a luxury we can ill afford currently. Maybe that's a bit strong.
I've never really warmed to him for some reason, and whilst you can't argue with his goal scoring last season, he certainly doesn't seem to have hit any kind of form lately.
Just my opinion, and of course I think we are a stronger squad with him in it.
I just think he seems to be a bit off at the minute. Like, I can't remember the last time I obviously heard the "We've got Alli" song.
Probably a build up of small points that have led me to come to my current stance on him.
For that style of game, Son was a better option than alli due to his pace but overall Alli is better it is rare to find goal scoring midfielders who know how to get in the right place at the right time, very much hope this is just more rumours, that he's happy and that we can get at least 2 seasons out of him at the new group, by that point I think if we still have poch and our other main players we will have won something of real note. If at that point he really wants to go then fine we'll him for hundreds of millions and get just as good if not better a replacement in like we have done with a aurier for Walker, easier said than done but English talent as we know always gets overpriced so if we swapped him for say a Pulisic In a few years, id not be complaining.Contentious post, but did we miss Alli last night?

I don't mind Jim White and I listen to the show if I am at home but IMO, it is the equivalent of listening to elevator music. Harmless but I wouldn't be absolutely gutted if I missed it.Did u hear it?
For anyone who missed it, it consisted of:
First caller said 'give it a rest Jim, we've just beaten Dortmund and the hoodoo is now over, can't we just enjoy it?'
Jim White responded with 'No, we deal with the issues on this show, and i think Spurs have got an issue here'
The second caller went on an anti Levy rant about not paying enough and we'll never win anything with Levy as chairman...Dean Saunders agreed with this as 'the best players always go to Real Madrid'.
Then was a Man City fan who said Dele isn't good enough to make their first team, and why aren't we talking about city beating the mighty Feyenoord 4-0.
The last few callers were basically not that bothered as theres not much you can do, he's on a long contract and if he was to go Levy will rinse the buying club, to which Jim White responded with, 'Yeah i definitely think Spurs have an issue here'.
It was quite the discussion.
Dele will be here in 12 months! He is super happy.
On unrelated note, we are into Pulistic (Sorry, probably spelt wrong).
No surprise on Pulisic. We've seen Levy go in for American players time and again, and the cost of building the new stadium was nearly doubled so that we could forge ties with the NFL. With the Premier League exploding in popularity in the States the potential commercial benefits are bigger than ever. Increasing the club's profile in the US could pay huge dividends in terms of commercial sponsorships, stadium naming rights, etc.Dele will be here in 12 months! He is super happy.

I agree. If we sell him next year it should be for an absolutely monstrous sum. And then we buy someone else. It's how Borussia Dortmund, for instance, have produced consistently good teams for years- selling for a good price then buying brilliantly well with the proceeds. If i am brutally honest we didn't appear to miss him last night. The list of players wanting out of Spurs over the past is a long one with Carrick, Keane, Berbatov, Modric, Sheringham, Walker and Bale to name a few.
