As someone not from the UK, I've only listened to talksport a couple of times because they had the international commentary and both times were miserable (one time they genuinely spent the entire match calling for Poch to bring on Paulinho to change the game even though we were winning). You guys only mention them when their shittalking Spurs. Are they normally not bad or just always bad but you listen anyways? Genuinely curious. Sorry if off topic.

I don't tend to bother with the Jim Whites and Durhams, Hawksbee and Jacobs are worth listening too and Brazil just for a morning briefing on last night's action.

He doesn't seem the type to me to want to be managed by one of these twats. The fact he's got one of his mates looking after his affairs is at odds with him wanting an agent like Raiola or Mendes interfering in his life telling him what he can and can't do.

Not even really sure what the story is here.He didn't leave his last agent to move to a worse one.Hes one of the hottest properties in world football ,of course every agent will want his signature. As said very replaceable imo.Honestly think he'd have a nightmare at Real ,he is no bale .As the song says, getting way to big for his boots.A lot more to prove yet that he deserves to be dinning at the top table.

What's he done to suggest he's getting too big for his boots?

agreed, i cant listen to Jim White or Darren Gough
Jim White on his preview on the Brazil show basically said his show as about who cares about the CL, its the prem that is important
predictable bearing in mind who he works for

This seems hugely unfair on Dele.

To start with, to say he's 'very replaceable' hugely belittles the contribution he's made in the last couple of seasons, and comparisons to Bale are equally unfair considering the relative ages of the players at their peak time with Spurs. Dele has a few years yet before he gets to the age where Bale peaked.

And as for the 'too big for his boots' stuff, there's absolutely nothing to suggest he's done anything untoward so far. Hiring a new agent is no big deal, he's not come out and said anything like Danny Rose, and he's continuing to do his thing on the pitch. Seems very weird to then have a go at him for acting 'too big for his boots' unless I've missed something.

Im not convinced he's good enough for Madrid or Barca, especially at the price he would demand. Their fans would tear him apart. He's clearly got an incredible end product, the stats speak for themselves, but his all round game needs a lot of work. I can't remember the last time i watched a spurs/england game without a commentator mentioning how Alli has been very quiet for a player of his quality... it's only spurs fans that realise this is pretty standard for him.

They're shitstirring discussing this on Talksport at 10am.
Did u hear it?
For anyone who missed it, it consisted of:

First caller said 'give it a rest Jim, we've just beaten Dortmund and the hoodoo is now over, can't we just enjoy it?'
Jim White responded with 'No, we deal with the issues on this show, and i think Spurs have got an issue here'

The second caller went on an anti Levy rant about not paying enough and we'll never win anything with Levy as chairman...Dean Saunders agreed with this as 'the best players always go to Real Madrid'.

Then was a Man City fan who said Dele isn't good enough to make their first team, and why aren't we talking about city beating the mighty Feyenoord 4-0.

The last few callers were basically not that bothered as theres not much you can do, he's on a long contract and if he was to go Levy will rinse the buying club, to which Jim White responded with, 'Yeah i definitely think Spurs have an issue here'.

It was quite the discussion.

It's a bit of a hype IMO. If clubs like Barca or Madrid want him, they'll pursue him regardless of who his agent is. If he wants to go, again he'll make it clear that he wants a move regardless of who his agent is.

Its sad if he has got rid of his Agent as lets face it the guy has made great decisions so far in his career, i think he will stay at spurs a couple more seasons at least, we are heading in the right direction if we keep winning players will be begging to come to us if they feel Poch genuinely will improve them and they have a chance to win things. ofcourse Money talks but there are players who want to win things and get better.

don't think he needs a super agent to end up at Madrid or Barca....seems like a waste of 10% min.
What he should be doing is hiring Beckham's agent and building a brand outside football....and staying at Spurs for a decade or so

I'd fear for dele if he went to a team like Madrid now, where it wouldn't be acceptable for him to lose the ball a few times and to drift out of the game, that he would get swallowed up. Definatly not ready

Also it's not the leaving that makes me worried in this story it's those fuckers mendes and raiola getting involved, scum of the game

Jim White is the worst thing in sports broadcasting, the grating voice and insipid insight of that haemorrhoid of a human being has definitely been a key contributor to talksport losing a fifth of their audience in the last 12 months.

I don't think "very replaceable " belittles what he has done.Yes he has done great, but imo there are better European players out there. And yes he is 21 and sure there is more to come. But I just don't see it.His best quality is arriving in the box at right time. The actually quality of Sons goals is far superior to dele ,of which majority are close range efforts.
"Big for his boots" it's just the ramped up marketing campaign. For me it's pretty obvious he is very much about the brand.I accepted last season he was just passing through.if he is still here 2nd season new stadium I'll be amazed. It does slightly erk me he is only spurs player on twitter to have addidas as his banner and avi and not spurs.Only other player to do that was Kyle walker.
But I think he has an issue in that he's not a Barcelona type player and for me others ahead in regard to Real. Then I guess you're left with Bayern PSG Juve.Have to say once we are in new stadium ,unless is Barca or real there really aren't many better places to be.

Not only does the grammar in this post deeply offend me, but the content is terrible as well. Very replaceable? Yeah, I'm sure we will have no problem finding another 20+ goal a season 21 year old midfielder. They're a dime a dozen.

And big for his boots? What a load of rubbish. I have never heard a single person say a bad word about Dele's attitude off the pitch. In fact, it's quite the opposite; it's often noted that he's a humble, easy going guy who is always up for a laugh. He's a competitive animal and can be petulant on-field, but saying he's 'getting way too big for his boots' is categorically bullshit.

I think people only realise now that Colin Murray wasn't actually that bad
No he was bad, Jim White is just far, far worse...Bob Mills is the only reason i listen, since i was a kid I've always found him pretty funny.
