Not thrilled if this is true. Both Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola are ruthless money-machines whose only interest in football is to make as much money as possible. I really hope neither of them get a foot inside the Spurs camp...

Dele Alli has split from his long-time representative and is now being courted by the two most powerful agents in football, according to a report.

The Times claim the Tottenham playmaker severed his ties with English adviser Rob Segal last month, having been with his Impact Sports Management team since he was aged 15 and making his way at Milton Keynes Dons.

It is said there is a scramble among the world’s leading sports management companies for the signature of Alli, 21, led by super agents Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola.

Mendes and Raiola have approached the player through his adoptive family.

Harry Hickford, Alli’s house-mate whom he regards as a brother after moving in with his family at the age of 13, will also have a role managing his career and is likely to be taken on by whichever agency wins the contract.

Alli’s decision to part company with Segal is likely to have huge repercussions for his future at Tottenham, even though he has a contract that runs until 2022.

Joining up with either of Mendes or Raiola would increase speculation that Alli’s ultimate goal is a transfer from Tottenham to Real Madrid or Barcelona, where Mendes and Raiola have impeccable connections and are well placed to facilitate a move.

The Times report the high profile duo, whose clients include Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Romelu Lukaku, Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea, Angel di Maria and Jose Mourinho, are jostling to win over Alli as prepares to appoint new advisers to manage the next phase of his career.

"It is said there is a scramble"

Ooooookay then, well sourced report.

Grow up, they’re not snakes. They just have the players interest at heart, not yours or the club.

I expect Dele to join one of the big American agencies like CAA over Gestifute or whatever Raiola’s shop is called

I'm not sure, that's not exactly what Jerry Maguire taught us.

Son over him any day for now, until we are leading and with lesser pressure to score does he perform at the moment.

How did he manage to stay on the field for 90 minutes today

Tbf I thought he was awful today but can understand why he was kept on. So many matches he is awful but then pops up with an important goal, so it makes sense to keep him on the field in a tight game.

Needs to be dropped.Thinks he is untouchable. As I've said before got too many distractions now building his brand. If he's not careful could all crumble around him.Can go from hero to zero in football very very quickly.

Thought he improved in the second half. Anonymous first half, but reckon he got a talking to at half time. Dropped deeper, got on the ball more.

We all know what he's capable of. But does seem to be the sort of lad that needs the occasional boot up the arse.

think i just have a blind-spot with alli, despite all the goals i still see him as a box-to-box midfielder playing up front. hard to argue with his record but he's basically just become a goal-sniffer at this point who offers not a whole lot else otherwise. his attitude on the pitch is becoming a bit of a concern too.

I wouldn't call that a blindspot. He spends half his time goal-hanging.

Started last season pretty slowly too if remember correctly. Rate him massively but he's got a lot of improving to do before I'll ever be worried about us losing him. Should spend less time talking to super agents and spend more time working on his first touch.

Not in million years are Real Madrid spending £150m on a player who can't control a football half the time.
I always fancy him to score, his record is fantastic but he's more potential to improve than close to being there yet.

he was poor today, but lets not over react. today could have been another time where he's anonymous for 90 mins but pops up with a worldy.

havimg said that, he needs a rocket from Poch to uo his game.
