Only themselves to blame after a shitty campaign. When the fixtures came out it was obvious tonight was the big night and despite the clear lack of quality we have we know how to get those 1-0 wins, it’s all we ever hope for. Not easy to dare to dream when you’re constantly a third pot team.

There should be a random draw for the playoffs. Fuck seedings and pots. You finish second in your group you don’t deserve anything. I’d love to be able to watch the NIR vs. Ireland shit show. That draw is impossible now.

Lot of bitterness for the Irish yet they only got beat by the finalists France in the 2016 finals, England losing to Iceland at the same stage while Wales did even better than England and lost in the semi to eventual winners Portugal.

Unseeded: Sweden (TBC), N Ireland, Rep Ireland, Greece/Bosnia

Suppose the only side the Irelands will realistically think they can beat is Denmark...
