Let's face it we went 2 up playing in second gear. West Ham were utter crap in the first half. They upped their game and we stayed the same. No urgency all night and we got what we deserved.

I blame the ball, it's too light you could see that early on in the second half.......fuck you Mitre

Lol I'd adore Poch even more if he said that in his post. A little knowing parody, poor quality ball indeed

Fucking hell we just had a game of the season against them at their place with our first team. Calm down.

We had our second game of the season against the bindippers and we put on a display like that! Whats your explanation?

Well, it will give Poch the chance to reinforce the message and remind our players they have done fuck all yet.

Response at Utd. Back on track.

don't care what the circumstances or what the competition. to lose any game after being 2-0 up is unforgiveable, especially against these carnie clowns. they'll be dining out on this for years ffs.

We were complacent all game. Can't believe we took off Llorente and then started to hoof the ball into their box. Only other comment I will make is that GKN was absolutely awful when he came on.

Please please enough with the "well on the positive side...".

No. That was a horrible performance, there are no positives. 0.

80 minutes for Rose, a couple of weeks without a midweek game

That's 2 positive outcomes from tonight's match

This seriously won't affect us on Saturday. We've had bad performances and scorelines over the last few years, and we ALWAYS come back strong. Honestly, it amazes me the lack of faith people have in Poch and this team. We are still one of the best teams around, we are still going to be in the title race. We will probably play United off the park...and win.

What I love about us now, is that we learn. COYS!

Winning is a habit. It's like tempo in a game of football. I fucking hate it when people say we have two more gears "if we wanted to". It never works that way. You start off with a slow tempo it's almost impossible to suddenly pick it up and play with more urgency. On the occasions it does happen there is usually a catalyst that gets the crowd up that generates the energy, e.g. a goal, a bad foul etc. It's hardly ever down to the players suddenly and collectively getting together to start playing faster.

We do so love to lose really stupid games to these useless ****s.

As much as we look down on West Ham, the fact is they actually beat us on a regular basis and practically every time we give the game away.

This is the thing, early shot at winning a cup, realistic trophy to get and we were 2-0 up, against West Ham at Wembley where everyone has been saying we have turned a corner.

The second West Ham scored the first I knee Ayew was the threat but he was unmarked for a good part of 5 mins after the first, nobody seemed to be concerned.

And now we have just handed in one of the worst performances of the season against one of the worst sides in the league and on top of that, West fucking Ham, yet again, you would think the players had something to prove against them after the last few seasons.

But nope, just get ourselves knocked out of the cup again and have to deal with the media saying how we still can't win at Wembley and all the other bollocks that we won't stop hearing now.

Also, confidence comes with wins, we have a big game against United at the weekend and whilst this result might feel like a nothing fixture losing anything isn't good for the confidence.

Poch needs to shoot a rocket up their arse for that, pathetic.

Still can't work out the Llorente sub just as we start sticking balls in the box. Amateur hour all round tonight.

When you have the MANAGER saying that he doesn’t give a toss about this cup, what do you expect the players to think exactly?!

Wish Poch would stop this fucking narrative that we only want the PL or CL. The fans desperately want a trophy and i’m pretty damn sure that, when the players retire, they will want to look back at the trophies that they’ve won.
I actually don't care, I'm fine with solid priorities. I do care about taking the lead and throwing it away in that fashion. Should have put the money where his mouth is and chosen a line up from the academy.

West ham acting like they have won the cup. Yeah it's their cup final

I don't mind that.

You know why....because they've just gone one step further than us in achieving silverware.

As good as we are in the league, throwing away cups has come back to haunt us in May when we fall short for the title in the last two seasons. And there we go again...

Well that didn't exactly go to plan. And it had to happen with West Ham of all bloody teams. Really hoping we give MU a pasting on the weekend to help forget about that shambles of a second half.

Dont give a shit about spurs not giving a shit about the league cup but then have the conviction to play a young side that reflects that.why have shite like gkn on the bench, all pace, little awareness or touch .have we no strikers at the club in the youth ranks.strange bench.
