It's just one were you put your hands up and let them have their way with you.

Then when they're finished remind them that they are still getting relegated into the Championship. :)

They're not that mouthy tbf!

I'd be interested to see people's reaction if that was arsenal or Chelsea. As a club we need to change our mindset towards West Ham because otherwise things like that happen.

Exactly. Why Chelsea?
Probably because of the financial doping... Dunno really... They're more successful too...
West Ham I've always had a soft spot for. Kinda like a little cousin. They've generally tried to play (what I consider to be) proper football. Always wanted to entertain...
Chelsea are just scum. Wannabe 'glamour' upstarts in the 60's too.

Was hoping they'd sack Billic - because I like him and he should be somewhere better. He'll probably get another year now they've beaten us in the Haribo Cup.

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Listen, credit to them for fighting back last night; we didn't expect that. One thing that bugs me about football fans is that we can't give any credit to the opposition; especially our nearest and dearest rivals. We got beaten and no complaints.

Not sure why that was a reply to me?

I'm happy to give them credit. They won fair and square. It just doesn't really bother me like it would if it was Arsenal/Chelsea/either of the Manchester clubs. It's an annoyance as much as any defeat is, but... meh I'm not going to throw my toys out of the pram either. This kinda shit happens. Better clubs get beaten all the time; else no-one would ever bother watching unless it was two 'comparable' clubs.

Wow, it does feel like one has to tread so carefully when replying to people sometimes. You sounded like you were trying to be magnanimous and I was echoing that. It wasn't a dig.

That's fine. Just wondering the relevance to what I'd said! Thought that maybe you had replied to my post in error!
Not about being magnanimous. Genuinely see WH as my 2nd club! (Sorry @riggi ) More or less so dependant on which league they are in!
Really don't understand the 'rivalry' with them. AFAIAC there simply isn't a rivalry with them other than they happen to currently be in the same league.

Oh, no worries. Wow, I can't see many Hammers seeing Spurs as their 2nd club. I reckon any talk like that on KUMB would result in a lifetime ban!
