That's fine. Just wondering the relevance to what I'd said! Thought that maybe you had replied to my post in error!
Not about being magnanimous. Genuinely see WH as my 2nd club! (Sorry @riggi ) More or less so dependant on which league they are in!
Really don't understand the 'rivalry' with them. AFAIAC there simply isn't a rivalry with them other than they happen to currently be in the same league.
There has always been a rivalry with West Ham. Arsenal are clearly our arch-nemesis, so to speak, but after that I'd say Chelsea and West Ham are joint 2nd. By rivalry obviously I don't mean in terms of on-the-pitch success i.e. competing for the title together, but in terms of hatred between fans. Admittedly, due to West Ham being well off the pace from us over the past 20 years, the rivalry on the field has perhaps become less intense, at least from our perspective, but I still don't understand how you can be a Spurs fan and support West Ham at the same time. It's one thing following your local league 1 club or something on the side but to support one of our most bitter rivals just makes no sense. I assume that you're not from the UK and so in that case I suppose you just didn't grow up with it like we did so it's more understandable. But to me that's like being a Hilary supporter who thinks Trump has some great ideas or something. It just doesn't add up.
