What a dreadful performance. Thankfully we got the 3 points.

Now pull our boys out of the England squad. They could do with a rest (y)

Very poor performances from some of the players. Son looked like a part-time weekend player the entire game but came up with that brilliant goal

You have to say on balance Palace deserved a draw, at least.
Poor from Spurs, especially Son, who the goal aside lost possession at dangerous times and was poor all around with his passing and decision making, yet he scored the winner. That’s football.

Palace will ultimately go down simply because they don’t score enough on their travels, or at all full stop. Plenty of endeavour, but it isn’t enough.

We must be better than that after the break, but 3pts are 3pts and they were very important!! Winning ugly is fine, but I think it’s only fair that after the praise of slapping Real Madrid, we give and accept criticism for that performance.

Well done Gazza btw... he did well in a difficult situation. I will probably give mom to Dier though.

We didn't buy him to be mobile. We bought him as a target man. He's a useful option off the bench to close out a game.

Ive no complaints about him.

Don't kid yourself into thinking we've bought him to play long ball, because we don't play long ball. At the moment he looks awful because he doesn't fit the system. Hence him not being good enough

This must be what its like to watch Man Utd every week, turd football with the hope that one of our good players would exploit an error, which in the end we did when Son got the ball passed out to him nicely..... great 3 points though!

All credit to palace they deserved a point. But we had Gazzaniga.

Spurs didn't play well, yes .... but CP parked the bus. Spurs had 70 % possession. Yes, I know, possession isn't everything but CP did not come to play and thus did not deserve a point really.

Well that was convincing.

It actually was imo, last season we would have lost that after a game like the one against Madrid, we won ugly today, 3 points is all that matters.

Half of our lads were utterly fucked by the full time whistle, Dier looked like he was running on empty, Rose was fucked, the performance wasn't good to watch but at the end of the day we won, that's all that matters and we won against a scrappy team at Wembley who are fighting to stay in the prem who had a full weeks rest and had a point to prove against us.

There is no such thing as an easy win in this league, those Palace players were motivated, they probably all watched us midweek, knew we would be knackered and wanted to burst our bubble, we showed how professional we are with that win today.

Honestly, that game would have been tougher for the players than the Madrid game in terms of mental and physical energy required because no team that turns up to play us at Wembley are going to give anything less than 100% especially one that is fighting to stay in the prem.

The ITKs said that he was recruited with a view to going more direct against more obdurate opponents.

We got away with one today but 3 points is a big 3 points!

We need some of the players to pull out the meainless friendies now...Kane, Winks, Alli all need to be withdrawn from England - would even like Rose and Dier our too if had my way

They are absolute pointless round of friendlies and way our injuries are currently we cant afford anymore

Hoddle was bothering me today. He doesn't usually.

He was annoying me too actually. I think Palace deserved a lot of praise for their 2nd half performance but I don't think they were that great in the 1st half yet you would have thought otherwise listening to Hoddle. Seemed to just want to repeatedly praise Palace from start to finish.
