Couldn't bear to watch MOTD last night, what did the pundits say about the foul and offsides ?
Same here. And i wouldn't have been able to listen to Wenger either.

That’s a straw man argument you’re using to beat this particular team with though. We’ve only been a “contender” over the last what, 3 years? Go back the 20 years you seem to think is relevant and we have a club that was recovering from criminal mismanagement, whilst they were regular title contenders and winners. Under Poch that is their first win.
I posted the other week the away records of our current rivals and they’re comparable, only none of our rivals have had the recovery from virtual bankruptcy that we have, so to compare us to them over 20 years is pure sophistry.
You set up with a midfield pair of dembele and sissoko and all the top 6 will murder you.still baffles me why we sent onomah on lone.he was ahead of sissoko last year and clearly has better technique required for these sort of games.Everyone knew they would be up for this and the high press was a pre requisite which we must of expected but were totally unprepared or had the required quality to counter this.
We never stretched thier defence as Trippier and Davies are no Walker and Rose in the way that the aforementioned two have the pace and power to push further forward and occupy their fullbacks
We played the perfect game for Arsenal yesterday and we need to learn not to fall into this trap against the other top teams.
If we set up like this against City they will murder us.
Well, Shearer and Neville were on, both agreed that the first goal was from a foul that didn't happen and that it was offside. For the second, Shearer did not think it was offside; I think in real time, it was tight, but Hugo would have saved it. You then had the usual crap about us not winning away. Here're the caveats, as far as I'm concerned: the losses at ManU and Goonerville were prior to major, decisive games in the CL; we had major players missing, and they played to their maximum; the whole game was turned on that first goal.Couldn't bear to watch MOTD last night, what did the pundits say about the foul and offsides ?
Clearly, Poch disagrees with you. I'm going with Poch on this one.You set up with a midfield pair of dembele and sissoko and all the top 6 will murder you.still baffles me why we sent onomah on lone.he was ahead of sissoko last year and clearly has better technique required for these sort of games.
You realise that over that twenty years we have been playing catch up. Try putting a bit of context into your arguments. We tend not to lose away, which is what is important given that we tend to win at home. The trajectory is what is important. You realise our shit record we have only beaten them twice in over 20 years at their place and we have similar with a few of the others it's appalling.
Not a lot, because they played very well defensively. Some of our players were off key.Dominated the ball and did what with it
You realise if we'd won yesterday it wouldn't have made any difference to our shit record there for the previous 20 years. You realise our shit record we have only beaten them twice in over 20 years at their place and we have similar with a few of the others it's appalling.
Dominated the ball and did what with it
Such a pointless stat really, thats going back about 15 years, and for the vast majority of that we were not a top 4 team.
Dont get me wrong, we need to improve away at these teams, but Im sure if you looked at all the other teams outside the top 4, the stat would be very similar...but I guess that doesn't fit the narrative right now?
We were for ed to because that's arsenal's game. But that is why Sissoko started. To play on the counter? We didn't play on the counter though, we setup a high defensive line And dominated possession.
Onomah has had mixed reviews from Villa... Probably too inconsistant to hold down a starting berth here at the moment. Winks on the other hand is a model of consistancy and has taken his chance. You set up with a midfield pair of dembele and sissoko and all the top 6 will murder you.still baffles me why we sent onomah on lone.he was ahead of sissoko last year and clearly has better technique required for these sort of games.
Spurs fans really need to stop this. It's not Dean's fault we were crap. It's not his fault we couldnt hold on to the ball, attack, or play defense. It's not his fault we were getting skinned alive all game. We lost fair and square. Arsenal came to play and they showed heart. They wanted it. Spurs did not show up, did not want it and showed a disturbing lack of heart.I take it all back, I have just seen the highlights for the first time and the referee did affect the result. Mike Dean's decision was disgraeful, it was completely totally and utterly wrong, Davinson's tackle was brilliant, an example of a great defending tackle.
For Dean to say he pulled Sanchez' shirt means he saw something that didn't happen, there was no debate or discussion to be had, it just didn't happen and yes it was compounded by the incompetence of the linesman because it was clearly offside.
I am also puzzled as to why some people blamed Lloris for the second goal, he was off balance and couldn't have saved that shot, if it had been six inches lower he would have but no keeper would have saved that goal.
From then on their tails were up and our injuries and weaknesses prevented us from getting back into it.
Poch disagrees witn the obvious regarding Onomah. Onomah is not an AM, contrary to Poch's belief. He is a CMClearly, Poch disagrees with you. I'm going with Poch on this one.
Nothing but I don't understand your point?
We were for ed to because that's arsenal's game. But that is why Sissoko started. To play on the counter
