Bang on.
Redknapp gave his usual insightful soundbite "The difference is Kane & Son. If Arsenal had them they win the game"
Utter, utter bollocks. If he seriously believes their midfield & defence were as strong as ours then he needs to watch the game over and over again.
We weren't stupid enough to bomb forward (including both full-backs simultaneously) leaving 2 centre halves exposed (and don't tell me it was Partey's fault, they were still outnumbered).

We are so organised and hard-working at the moment it is almost unbelievable. And with the pace, vision and talent that our attackers provide, that is some combination.

Only if we'd swapped thrm with Aubamayang and Lacazette.

Glad we won, and I cheered the goals like everyone else, but that performance bored the shit out of me. I understand style of play is completely subjective but park-the-bus counter-attacking football of this kind is not for me. More the power to everyone who absolutely loved it though.

I enjoyed the two goals and the results. Everything else was difficult to watch.

But there were plenty of performances that were boring in the past that we totally dominated, bossing the possession and created very little clear cut chances.

The goals yesterday were brilliant. Those alone should have everybody absolutely buzzing given they were in the NLD.

And to be fair, had Ndombele being playing we would of seen more transitions and counters yesterday.

I'm loving how dogged we've become, and on the break we look lethal.

And i enjoy strong defensive plays if we've got that punch up front, which we most certainly do.

It would’ve been different if we hadn’t scored the 2nd just before half time. While I agree with you that the second half was dull, it was probably the first time that I’ve never been nervous in a NLD. We were 2 up so don’t need to got looking for anything else other than a win. They are so poor with the ball and their patterns of play predictable, let them have it as they couldn’t do anything with it

Yes I was ridiculously calm in that NLD, first time I've ever felt like that, didn't even feel like a derby, more like a game against Burnley tbh. First time he's really parked the bus at Spurs and you have to say it was effective.

Can't lie though the 2nd half was touch to watch but we setup and let them have the ball as we knew they wouldn't score, we're gonna be seeing more of that in games where we are in total control, as long as we win them though or get a positive result I don't think the fans can have any complaints.

I was going to say something about armchair fans. Ceefax page 303 the vidiprinter. Reading the newspaper for the build up, poring over at least 2 different newspapers the next day for micro analysis......but I've lost my train of thought cos I've been on YouTube all fucking night listening to the same match told in 50 different ways by 50 different people (even in Korean)..... And I haven't even been out to get the papers.

Can we ignore the absolute bollocks in here, and just celebrate beating the Gooners?

If the result had gone Arsenal's way they'd have brought Guendouzi back just to drive around outside with the windows down screaming in victory so they could post it all over their social media. Banter club. .

It's not scary, but why are we afraid to admit women in TV presentation jobs (not just football) are usually atttractive. Their looks definitely help them get the job.

Nothing wrong with that either. I don't want to see some fat minger on my telly talking crap about football. At least this bint looks good even if she does spout banal rubbish.

I think the reason "this bint" isn't a "fat minger" is because she's 36 years old and was an elite professional athlete until about two years ago.

She's also arguably more qualified to offer punditry than half the male ex-footballers they trot out on Sky Sports, given that she's won multiple Premier Leagues, the Champions League, multiple FA Cups, and been a World Cup semi finalist.

Her CV dibbles all over Carragher, Redknapp and Jenas's, somewhat...

Oh for the heady days of 33 attempts on goal and a 1-0 defeat..
.
There's been a monkey on our back for decades screaming - "You never win anything"

Let's win something and take it from there.

Liverpool in two weeks, that's the real test.
I know Im being pernickety here...
The way we are playing, every game is a real test for me. Can we keep these performances going. Liverpool will be just another difficult fixture the we seem in the past, make hard work of.

We get about 2 hours more rest than them as they are also playing next Sunday - and in London v Fulham, Klopp will be moaning of our advantage.

I actually had to look up what bint and minger meant. Not being one of those overly PC types, but thought it to be somewhat derogatory.

But thought I would cross cultural bridges and give it a fair crack. So here goes - “Redknapp did come across as a manky muppet. What a git.”

How was that?

On a more serious note, Jose didn’t seem too pleased before the game with Ndombele calling in injured. Hope that doesn’t escalate

To add a bit of context though, I can't remember playing a worse Arsenal team at going forward and scoring goals. They're utter shite at the moment. Mourinho set it up how he wanted them to play and they obliged for the whole game. They never seemed likely to score, unsurprisingly since they've failed to do so for God knows how many hours now. I'm very happy with a win, but we were playing Arsenal lite who were quite hopeless.

I think that he was disappointed as he obviously wanted him in the squad for the NLD, but there is no reason to think that he blames Ndombele.

This. Right now, considering where we were less than a year ago, is exactly where we needed to be. Stop conceding! I imaging we will continue this style of football for the remainder of the season. I do not believe for one minute that Jose wants us to stay this way. We are a perfect example of a team evolving, and evolving in a perfect, text book fashion. He wants this mentality to be second nature to us.

Klopp and Liverpool feel they are the voice of football and everyone should take note when spoken (I couldn't hate them enough).
Even ex liverpool pundits feel they have the same influence. They certainly are an influence on football but how I don't know but maybe like the Liverpool local politicians rotten to the core and get stuff done in shadows?
