Clearly we don't have players who are 'shit' but there is absolutely clearly a problem with our mentality and our approach to games this season.

RIP pressing game.

I honestly do not know what to say other than I hope we are not building an 850 million GBP white elephant on Tottenham High Street

The team tricked us into thinking they were a top EPL team. I suspect the last two seasons is going to be as good as it gets

Lamela gets my MOTM because he had a more positive effect on the game in his 15 minutes than Eriksen had for the last two games

Sorry but ridiculous knee jerk stuff. Did more than enough to win that.

The only thing I would say for sure is I never want to sissoko in a spurs shirt again. I would much rather see Marcus Edwards playing on the right.

Refreshingly good..........8...Lamela
Not as awful as some.....6...Kane, Verts,Sanchez,
Awful...............................5 ..Dier, Rose, Aurier,Son.Lloris
Awfuller...........................4...Dele, Dembele
Awfullest..........................3..Sissoko, Llorente, Eriksen
Could and should have won it. 2/3 missed sitters.
Still a poor performance though overall
Son should not have been dropped, Sissoko should not have started (ever).
Dembele has lost it. Either Dele or Eriksen should be rested. Poch won't rest them both.

Great to have Lamela back. We need a breath of fresh air offensively - 7.

Kane gets an extra point for the goal. If he was on the end of the Sissoko, Alli, Eriksen or Llorente chances, the result would be different - 6

Aurier - started poorly but got better as the game went on. Great delivery for the Llorente chance - 5.

Sanchez and Vertonghen don't look as steady as earlier in the season - 5.

Alli - worked hard but his inability to retain possession hurts us. Should have put his chance away - 4

Dembele, average - 5.

Sissoko - after an okay start to the season, has reverted to his old self - 2.

Eriksen - been poor since the playoffs. Needs a break - 2

Rose - thought he should have played on the weekend but I was wrong. His passing was not to be expected at this level - 2.

Dier - he is CB, not a midfielder. Passing was worse than Rose's - 2

Lloris - couldn't do much about the goals and didn't have much else to do - 5.

Son - should have started - 5.

Llorente - 2.

2nd goal obviously jan shouldn’t let him cut inside. But dembele is jogging back and mahrez Basically moves into area where a DM should be. Dembele pretty culpable in that goal as well.

Well another abject game. Poch, I thought would have the balls to drop either Alli or Eriksen tonight and give Lamela a 60 mins. A woeful first half ensued. Whatever is going on, needs to addressed.

1. Lloris - 6, not a lot he could have done for the two goals they scored.

2. Aurier - 5, Looked shaky at times, and general game isn't up to scratch just yet - Needs a run of games.

3. Sanchez - 5, did not look assured tonight, at times left a lot of space for Leicester.

4. Dier - 4, There are times when i can't praise him enough, but there are more times when I wish he was gone. Perhaps the utd move would have been the best for all parties concerned - His heart isn't at this club.

5. Vertonghen - 5, Didn't really do much wrong, but never looked totally assured either.

6. Rose - 4, I want Rose to be a Tottenham legend, but selling Walker was enough to ensure that he won't be around, and current attitude suggests it is in our best interests to listen to offers. Tonight it almost felt like he was playing his way out of the club, at least that's what the cynic in me says.

7. Sissoko - 5. Not the worst player out there, but had a glorious chance to get us back in the game. Don't think his general performances should command a first team place though.

8. Dembele - 5. Offered very little, and was busied off the ball fairly easily at times

9. Alli - 4. Everyone's love/hate player at the moment, and for good reason. I don't know what others see, but imho I don't see a world class player, and recent performances (including tonight) have convinced me even more that we are a mere stepping stone for him.

10. Eriksen - 3. My biggest disappointment, and mainly because we have come to expect so much more from him. Everything was just terrible from him tonight, as it has been fairly recently too. His wonderful free kicks are gone, his touch is shocking. Should have been subbed far earlier.

11. Kane - 7. Mr dependable is our biggest asset, and so it proved tonight but to no avail. A heads up every now and again to find others would be beneficial.

Subs.

Lamela - 8. Sooooo glad to have this man back, and looking hungry. His drive and passion seems unaltered and looked determined to drag us back in the game. A wonderful incisive assist for Kanes goal. MOM

Llorente - 4. Shocking miss which was Soldado esque, but I still feel can be an asset to us with his hold up play, and can and should offer us something in the air, if only we can get crosses to him?

Son - 5. Offered much the same as what had already come before him.

In Eriksen’s defence, he should have had two assists in the past two games but wasted by pisspoor finishing.

Aside from that, agree that he’s been way below par. Guess the point is that even when he’s off, he can still impact.

I guess this is where we are coming unstuck.mplaying unfit players is usually not a Poch thing. Dembele is great when he is fit but for the first couple of years with us he wasn't and I couldn't see any quality in him. However when he got fit he was a revelation to me as a player. Sadly he is not fit and his immobility becomes a problem for us. He is not a quick passer of the ball and Winks more suits our game. But Winks needs a DM alongside him and Dembele is not really that ... Sissoko is not even a player. anyway I need to stop ranting. We are not in crisis but are in a difficult moment which we need to pull ourselves out of quickly

In Deeney's term, we don't have cojones in almost EVERY PL matches (except the Liverpool game). And why Lamela is so good today is because of his cojones, not just the assist. You can see it.

Both Alli and Eriksen need dropping. They have both been nothing short of terrible the last 2-3 games and should be dropped. Son and Alli in for both of them. Personally I would drop Dier as well as the guy seems to think he is some sort of football maestro, nah you ain't!

This will never happen but my team for Watford would be:

Lloris

Trippier
Verts
Sanchez
Davies
Rose

Dembele
Winks

Son
Lamela

Kane

Subs - Vorm, KWP, Foyth, Dier, Eriksen, Alli, Llorente.

Neither Eriksen or Alli should be close to this team.

As for ratings, starters get a 0, Lamela gets a 9. That's it.

I like the look of that team.

I know it's the Spurs rating thread, but the way they played tonight even when on the back foot Leicester did everything right. they either won the 2nd ball or it fell to them generously, and scored 2 very good goals.

what never helped was our poor passing and another poor ref. don't think Lamela should of been booked, and a good shout for the pen.

Lamela by a mile, and he was only on for a few minutes. Rest of them need to take a long hard look at themselves after that. No passion, no desire, they just looked like they couldn't be arsed.

For all the ranting on here we missed 4 absolute clear chances and stonewall pen. Could easily have won 2-6. And every player would be getting 7-9 . Lloris Literally had nothing to do the whole match bar pick ball out twice. There are many games we win and count as glorious victories that could easily have gone against. Only difference is tonight we missed 4 Absolute sitters.

So Alli gets dropped for Son and Eriksen gets dropped for Alli. Genius.
