On point number two, I knew this, ooops.

On point number one, I think he should play on merit anyway but we all know Son has a higher bar set for him than the others.

As far as I'm.concerned the performance against Stoke is far more important. I want to see more intensity to our game so we've an opportunity to rest some key players and we'd be fucking mad not to with the hectic Xmas schedule round the corner.

Son must start against Stoke, who will come and sit deep. I sincerly hope Winks does as well. Kane, Eriksen, Dele, Dier, vertonghen shouldn't be anywhere near this game. Obviously Sanchez will play given his domestic ban.

Rest the players and do a full weeks worth of preparation. We need to throw the kitchen sink at Stoke next weekend.

Bollocks to this, test the kids out. Sanchez and one of the left backs should be the only real first teamers out there.

On the other hand, I am really looking forward to this match. Win or lose doesn't really matter. A chance for our backup players and youngsters to fight for something

I'd be shocked if it happened but I really want to see Skipp in this one.

With our injuries and suspensions we are woefully short of options in midfield, and Skipp by all accounts plays with a maturity well beyond his years. We have nothing to lose by seeing if he sinks or swims at the senior level in this dead rubber, if he takes the opportunity it could give us a hugely useful option.

It means that he doesn't get given us much leeway as our other attacking midfielders, who are seemingly undroppable. Are you seriously telling me you couldn't figure that out from my post without asking?

No reason why we can't rest the whole 11 that played against Watford except Sanchez who doesn't matter now.

The only reason I can see us maybe playing a stronger starting 11 is because of the win bonuses any club gets for a CL win, I think it's €1.5m for a win and €500k for a draw. A win probably pays for the entire squads weekly wage and Levy would obviously be fully aware of this. I'll be very disappointed if we play any first team player to be honest.
