My thoughts exactly.I know Simon Jordan isn't everyones cup of tea, but he's got it spot on with city and calls them the Frankenstein club and refuses to give them any credit for what they've done.
Generally the media and pundits are fawning over them and what they've 'achieved'....theyve assembled one of the most expensive teams in world sport, and theyre paying probably the best manager in world football to coach them, yet the media thinks that them smashing everyone in sight is somehow amazing.
Unfortunately if I voice my opinions amongst certain ppl I get the whole "You're just bitter" response.
It's such a shame that football clubs can't grow organically, have a period of success and falter away slightly like they used to. Every ounce of respect and all of the accolades would be deserved. It really is a cock measuring competition nowadays.
The problem is I can't see the Prince getting bored with it. He will want total global domination and he won't want to give it up easy either. We could be entering a period of sustained success for Man City and PSG as they hoover up all the best talent in the world and ensure that they have the best coach/es in the world driving it.
