Only if Joe Lewis had ever put his hand in his considerable pockets to funds Spurs, but he hasn’t.

I think you'll find he has. A couple of summers ago he put in £50m directly to help fund the stadium. Tavistok his other company were also listed in levy's letter to sadiq khan as being a major financial backer of the new stadium.
He may not be a sheik or oligarch but he has put money in.

For gods sake stop being so clever and coming up with facts. Its much easier to be ignorant and blame Levy and Lewis and ENIC for being misers.

We really should comfortably win next 3:

Southampton: they have quite a few injuries, van djik saga and are pretty toothless. Will set up very negative.

Swansea: big advantage because of West Ham postponement we have a weeks rest and a game we should win anyway. Hopefully no new manager bounce.

West Ham: The 48 hours rest should go in our favour. They will prioritise WBA game massive relegation game for them. Plus they have a small aging squad. 48 hours turn around won’t suit them.

I don't know.... This United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea team look so far ahead of us........ o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

People who shit themselves over the man city result and weekend of results should really take a moment to reflect and have a quiet word with themselves. We can lose to Southampton and still go and get 2nd. These teams can all be got at. And when we turn it on we're actually a very good balanced football team.

That was a good win yesterday against a decent side and we looked like we got our urgency back in the passing as it was quicker and sharper, some of the finising could of been better but that maybe just being picky but a good run now and who knows what the team can do.

Agree.Need to beat Southampton at Wembley next.

Seems the top 6 have a relatively easy game coming up with Arsenal most likely to drop points away to Palace.

We definitely need to go on a run, looked like the spring in the step was coming back¡

The last 2 seasons we have gone on a great run from around this time of the year. After yesterday performance and the next few fixtures the signs are looking good

It's pretty amazing that we've been fairly mediocre most of the season, yet we're somehow ahead of arsenal, and no one's talking about how bad they are, not really...
My feeling is that Liverpool are our main threat this season and we can't slip up many more times if we're going to finish above them. We'll need something at Anfield I reckon.

No chance, may as well call it a day if we're expecting something from that fixture.

My worry would be if Liverpool sign a decent GK x2 CB RB LB and a DM in January :D

No but seriously if they sign a decent CB that will improve them. Chelsea will probably get more depth. I think Barkley may happen for us but I can’t see the AM/winger. But Levy May gamble as we need them anyway. So why not January if can get who we want.Ive a feeling United will fall back into the pack. They’ve been scrapping games lately, caught up with them yesterday.

To those who went into meltdown recently after the City game, you know who you all are, please take note of results from last 5 games in photo below and look at results of those around us.
Oh and in particular look at Arsenals recent form. Shiiiitttttt lol.
Put your dummy back in and keep it in next time we lose please.
Excluding City its only us, Chelsea and Utd with 3 wins out of last 5!!!
We beat Stoke 5.1 week before and you still came out with crap like 'Disaster. Sack Poch. Alli is shit. Winks is shit. Trippier is shit. Rose is shit. Dier is shit. Etc etc.'
You're an embarrassment.

Southampton is not a given. We've played Swansea, West Brom, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Stoke and Brighton at Wembley, with 5 of those teams being below Saints and with only 1 of those games being a simple win, the rest weren't impressive performances.

And before someone says yeah but we beat Real Madrid, Dortmund and Liverpool, they didn't come and park two buses.

All I hope is that again like yesterday we start well and at least take a 1st half lead for the game to open up a bit. They are on a poor run, but I'm not gonna lie I'm always heavily sceptical regarding us at Wembley.
