Yep. I agree in the main. But we do need to be a little careful here. I dislike the 'buy success' approach as much as you. But of course it is relative. And are the means by which, say, joe lewis and tavistock gets/secures/develops their property pottfolio ethically removed from thfc? I am not so sure. The hidden lake project in Argentina seems a case in point, and at first sight looks like outright bullying of the local community. If that is indeed the case, we are surely bound up to it, even if at an 'indirect' level. I am happy to be corrected though!
Only if Joe Lewis had ever put his hand in his considerable pockets to funds Spurs, but he hasn’t.

yes but their new owners never had to pay a billion + to be purchased, didn't the rusky pay a £1 and then pay off their debts
I stand by what I have always said and that is I would be welcome to the idea of owners like that who are willing to bring some of the world's best players to our club, winning trophy after trophy providing that young players are developed and given a chance.
I would not want to lose our identity but at the same time who would not be happy being successful and this nonsense about unscrupulous owners, all successful business men are ****s and ruthless when needed otherwise they wouldn't be successful.

With the carabo cup draw. Chelsea Arsenal City will have had 17 back to back games- 3 days break. By weekend 13/14th complete madness. Cracks must start to show with Chelsea and Arsenal.

Arsenal are playing the reserves in the Europa though annoyingly. It won't hurt them like it hurt us.

Maybe all is wealth is tied up and he doesn't have a great deal of liquidity..He's now 80 and you would have to question his motives, as if he is still looking at THFC as an investment vehicle and this yields him a decent return, where and when would he have the opportunity to spend this before he departed this world.

Will have to start taking more seriously. Totally screwed Man U last season Europa and carabo. And if they get to Carabo final they will be a game behind. Plus January will be really unsettling for them with Sanchez ozil . Pretty confident they will fall away.

Usually I would prefer a draw in todays Arse v Liverpool game. But I would like to see a Liverpool loss today. They have not lost a game for 2 months(since their loss to us). Arsenal win doesnt mean much , as they can always put a shit show next game against Palace.

He's more interested in bolstering his art collection from what I've heard. His daughter does all the Spurs stuff now.

Yep, of course. But is thfc tainted by association?
At the end of the day... there is no ethical consumption under capitalism :p But with any luck we'll be top 4 in the league table without being in the top 4 most evil/corrupt owners table.

High 'liquidity' with Mitchell and Butler!
