The pitch will be so sticky when it stops raining, all the plodders will start reining supreme. Good luck fleet-footed pacey players.

The first 20-30 mins the pitch wasn’t water-logged. After that, the water started to gather on the surface. How can any one be criticized in such terrible conditions.

You adapt to it. Early on we were passing it carefully. The atmosphere and intensity rises a little bit and we've started to force it a bit, playing more low percentage stuff etc. so whilst conditions might have got worse and more errors to be expected, we haven't been totally smart. And that's what you have to be in testing conditions.

I think they've set up wisely, and their centre back has a decent touch is that Mawson?

Lamella looks sharp and steady.

This could do pear shaped but we should bury them later given all the graft the run around they've endured so far.

You can’t play our style of football in these conditions. It’s really silly to suggest the players attitude should be questioned. It doesn’t matter how good you are, it’s nigh on impossible to play.

I really struggle with Poch's logic sometimes. We've got another game in two days, he's got two CM's on the bench but would rather play all of our AM's in one game, including having Eriksen slog around in a CM2. We haven't got a single attacking midfielder or chance creator on the bench because they are all on the pitch.

Why not go 3331, 3421 or even 433. Play one or both of Wanyama and Winks, play Dier or Foyth as CB, push the FB's up and out, stretch the pitch a bit wider? Trippier is much better as a RWB in the 3CB system, than a RB in a back 4. Same Davies.

Well considering the pitch wasn't in a bad shape to start with and we aren't a team who pump crosses into the box or take pot shots Im struggling to understand why ppl expect us to suddenly start doing that. The players don't suddenly decide to alter their approach because there is water on the pitch

What I am saying is though, Poch should relay that message to them.
