A few chances where Dele and Son could have just taken the shot instead of trying to waltz into the penalty area..

I have to say I just love watching Davinson Sanchez.

So composed, so capable, strong and quick. He's the real heir to Ledley's throne imo.

A bit of a frustrating half. 1 shot on target is pretty poor given the amount of possession we've had (especially when that shot was offside). I think we need to be a bit more direct in these conditions. Get some shots in from distance to test the keeper and follow up the rebounds. Got to look to make them make mistakes. We need the second goal to kill the game off.

The rain seems to have eased so hopefully they sort the pitch at HT and we can come out 2nd half and kill the game quickly....

Just get another sloppy shit goal and get the hell out of there with nobody hurt. Rest up for Thursday and the cup final at Wembley.

Ok it's difficult conditions to play in, but after a first half hour where we strolled it, I don't think we've played very sensibly since Swansea found a little fight and have started to scrap. It might be a bit tricky out there, but instead of playing simple passes we have started to try things that are very risky on this pitch and putting our own man in trouble which has led to an increase in the error count - and given them the tiniest sniff of getting back into it and woken the crowd up.

Just simple passes, be very patient, and open them up. We're very capable of that. Cut out the flicks and tricks, it's not the night for them.

Also you have to wonder why after we score early on from Llorente bullying their centre back, and with conditions making a passing game difficult, we haven't then at least whipped a few crosses in to see what happens..... Can no one think for themselves out there?
The first 20-30 mins the pitch wasn’t water-logged. After that, the water started to gather on the surface. How can any one be criticized in such terrible conditions.

IMO Conditions mean this isn’t going to be pretty, it’s going to be scrappy, full of errors and there’s a fuck up somewhere, waiting to happen. I’ll take any sort of win.

Don't worry about that chance Llorente had when he was flagged off incorrectly. It doesn't fit your narrative Sky .

I give our players 9/10 for effort in that half in the conditions. Excellent application & concentration.

I would have been stunned we're getting bad feedback but I know how many ringers, mentalists and trolls we get in here. Fingers crossed but it's bloody horrible out there.

We really, really need to take some more shots. Outside of the chances from free kicks have even had a shot on target or not?

Think edwards could have made the bench today, with all 4 AMs starting. Bringing sissoko on in this is nightmare inducing
