Yes and that same oracle said he thinks Poch would be ok with it.
But it conflicts with what Trix said, no?

No it does not!!!But it conflicts with what Trix said, no?
There is a big difference. Hamstring surgery is rarely required. It appears limited to complete ruptures or to remove scar tissue from chronic hamstring tears. RB has what is called a Grade 3 tear. In serious cases a Hamstring avulsion can occur when the hamstring muscle, tendon are completely torn off from bone and to treat this repair, surgery is required. I suspect this may be the extent of RB's injury. The muscle is never the same again.
Look at RB's post operartive scar here if you think this was a normal tear.

Injury and more, and I am very sure Trix would agree. Sometimes it is best to accept what we put outTrix said it’s just injury. You said there’s more to it than that. Am I wrong. I might’ve misread

He’s low risk though isn’t he. It’s not like we’re talking about some £60m plus transfer fee (which is what we’d be talking about if he had 3 plus years left on his deal)
£15 fucking million and we’re passing coz he’s been out for 4 months or so. Let’s sell Lamela and Rose too in that case.
If he turned into a sick note it’s not like we’ve splashed out loads. Christ we lumped £30m on Sissoko and his wages probably aren’t to far off what Barkley was after.
Curious as to what changed between August and now it’s not like his recovery time has been delayed, he’s back in full training and Chelsea seem ok with the medical.
From what Hercules said it sounds to me as if it’s a question of having found a better alternative.
That would make sense, but if we can’t sign him, whoever he may be, till the summer, that would leave us weak for the rest of this season.
Perhaps they’ve decided that RB wouldn’t be fully fit till so late in the season anyway that we’re better off going for the alternative in the summer.
That could make good sense provided we’re confident about landing him, but I suppose that’s the sort of risk/judgement/gamble you have to take sometimes.

Signing RB just in case we don’t sign the better alternative doesn’t sound like a very plausible or ambitious strategy to me, but I can see why some might think it would be better than nothing.

What is Tobi’s then strange that he is out for longer. Genuinely curious as you seem to know your hamstrings. Is your career over as soon as you get a grade 3, then?
I guess we better hope that a million and 1 things that could happen between now and the summer don’t happen then, I guess.
I’m assuming this target that Hercules mentions isn’t bothered if we get CL football as at the moment I’d rank our chances at 50/50.
This assumes we can actually deliver on any preferred target where our conversion rate under Levy of getting preferred targets is abysmal

Ultimately as I have felt for years now Levy and ENIC and uncle Joe are playing the end game now
New Stadium. Sell. Line their pockets. We hear the same stuff every single transfer window about how we are in for xyz , trust us etc and we rarely land a preferred target. This is a transfer that should have been a Levy special with a player that waited for us
Clearly ITk with superior knowledge to mine but saying trust Levy is a pretty bold ask when time and time again he has not delivered on transfer targets where there is genuine competition for the player
