What are you saying? You think Poch would sign him if he wasn’t fit for a job? I don’t think there’s a chance and we would certainly have all that checked out!
-PSG heavily overpayed for him in the first place in order to get him. He was a target for many clubs, like Man United. PSG at the time wasn't as attractive as others. They needed to outbid everyone to get him.
-Now PSG really need to sell because of FFP, so we're getting him for a lower price than his value.

Whether we think he’s the real ‘difference maker’ some think we need or not, at the price mooted this one is a no brainer. Absolute bargain and adds a skillset we only really have in Son.

Seeing as there was a press conference today at HW for this weekend's cup tie I wonder the legistical hubbub of touring him around but not in places where the press would see. Ultimately it got out anyways but I do wonder what Poch must have been thinking answering questions, even direct ones about Moura just sitting there going "no, no transfer news. Lots of players. All the names. You know." While Lucas is hidden in a cupboard with a sign that says "Warning Dangerous Chemicals"

In the January/Summer window if we added Moura, Malcom and Sessegnon and sold Rose, Sissoko and Nkoudou, I'd say we did pretty damn well.
Don't want to hear it about Lamela. I want to believe there's still a way everyone could be involved and happy.

Seems to be picking up pace, doesn't it! I did say these are types of players we've never really signed as of late, the well known high calibre type. I have to say it would even be a great signing for the current players at the club, to be seeing players like this coming in. I do think statement signings potentially further enforce a players belief that they're at the right place too.

Who is Moura likely to be back up to for the Goons? They aren't exactly a big draw anymore .... Are they!?
I though Trix or Herc said that PEA didnt want to go there not soo long ago?
Either way I dont care and would love us to sign Moura even though its likely if we got borh him and Malcom that Lamela would be off!

Right now we are a slight bit unbalanced as a squad. I mostly blame Sonny, but Toby shares a part of the blame.
If you go back to last season, we had a great second-half, primarily playing in the 3421 formation - but we we only had 4 players for the 4 CB/DM positions. We sign Sanchez and Foyth, to create better depth, and then we have 6 players for 4 positions. With the 2 AMs behind Kane we had Dele, Eriksen, Son - and then had Lamela coming back this season, and hopes for GKN to develop - i.e. lots of options for just 2 positions.
Toby and Wanyama get injured, and now we are down to 3 senior players for 4 positions. Then Sonny gets a run of play, and makes himself undroppable in the 4231 formation. So, now, we look like we are set to play primarily in the 4231 - but realistically, we only have Lamela on the bench in the AM positions. And, like it or not, Lamela has not been able to shake off the rust after missing a year on the pitch. So, we really lack attacking alternatives right now.
If we had stuck with the 3421 - we probably had enough to manage, as Son (even more so than Dele) is a great option to bring off the bench.

TBH, he’s not the sharpest tool in the box (Rose); I’d not be surprised if he has to Google directions to his home each day after training.

Look at all of lucas' video highlights. His close control is terrible. When he dribbles past someone his touch takes the ball feet away from him causing him to sprint after it which will cause incidents - just like Andros used to do. He isn't tricky at all. And scoring a shitload in a PSG side that has only had monaco as competition in an otherwise relatively poor league doesn't mean anything to me. Both of Sonny and Dele scored over 20 goals last season for us as well. If he comes then I will support him and hope that I'm terribly wrong but watching him play seriously reminds me of Townsend, and not because he's got dark skin or is bald.Sorry , what a load of BS...
Just because Lucas is bald like Townsend, doesnt mean he can be compared to him. A Brazilian Townsend is still better than a Townsend...
Malcom - Have you ever seen Malcom play regularly ? I doubt that as he plays for a relegation threatened side.
As for as Lucas - from what I have seen of him over the years, he is pretty good player at a CL level. He scored 19 goals & assisted 11 last season. He is replaced in PSG side by a 220m player. And we have Lamela & Sissoko , players who are struggling to hit the net or assist. So, lets come down from the lofty perch. We need a tricky wing forward who is proven at CL level.
Your comment suggest Lucas doesnt have technical ability. Sorry, thats soooo wrong.
IMO, Lucas ticks all the box. Malcom signing is welcome. But lets not compare the two.

Wasn’t the problem with Andros that he was a total maverick and didn’t follow the managers instructions? We were told he did it on the training pitch but as soon as he got on the actual pitch at the weekends it all went out the window. If Andros could actually do what was asked of him then I still think he would be here. He has ability and pace and is Spurs through and through. People talk about him as if he is total shit which just isn’t the case at all. There is just a flaw. Maybe an Andros without this flaw is a bloody good player.

Didn't you say you don't about Lucas & also said Malcom has better technical ability. If your views on player are just based on youtube, may be you need to be bit measured in your assessment. If Lucas is looked down because he is playing in a shit league then same yard stick should go for Malcom , who plays for a shit team in a shit league.
IMO, it would be great if we could sign both. We have space in squad to accommodate 2 wingers, given 2 usually who play on right side aren't doing it. Realistically, I can see one or the other. And I dont think Lucas is a bad one as it made out to be - IMO, he is tricky , he is fast & he does have the end product. What he lacks is game time having just played 70minutes for PSG this season. I am sure when he plays more, his quality will be for all to see
