What are you saying? You think Poch would sign him if he wasn’t fit for a job? I don’t think there’s a chance and we would certainly have all that checked out!
Poch hasn't exactly excelled in the transfer market, he's had quite a few flops especially in attack like Llorente, Sissoko, n'kudou, Janssen.

-PSG heavily overpayed for him in the first place in order to get him. He was a target for many clubs, like Man United. PSG at the time wasn't as attractive as others. They needed to outbid everyone to get him.

-Now PSG really need to sell because of FFP, so we're getting him for a lower price than his value.
Yeah true. If PSG really need the money cos of the neymar/ mbappe deal then it would make sense them having to accept a low offer.
The player i would most like in that position is Kluivert, he looks like a great player and been schooled the Ajax way. Would imagine he'd be Sanchez type money again. I also really like Sessegnon ,but if we get both we'd be a bit left side dominant with those two and Son

This is why people are skeptical. Poch/Levy's previous with attacking signings.

Moura will be decent, I feel.

I hope that the rumors that he was in London to meet Levy is true. Maybe we get to see him sitting at Rodney Parade alonside Levy this weekend

Wasnt there rumours him being back in France? Maybe Levy didn't want to pay his hotel and meals, so he sent him back for now.

I wonder how close this actually is. Seems to be very close with all the training ground stuff etc with most itks confirming it’s all true but surely Levy will leave it as long as possible to drive the price down as much as possible.

Probably see "Spurs have £10m bid rejected for Moura" tonight :ROFLMAO:

Other than the ramblings of, some small fry journo, do have any real info that he ever held that opinion in the first place?

Exactly, you can't read an article like that and automatically assume it's completely factual. He may or may not have had that that opinion at all.

If the figures are correct (£25million and £75K pw in wages), get it done.

Like many have said he offers us something different in the attacking midfield. Having a half fit Lamela as an alternative won't get us very far in the spring months.

I think a fully motivated Moura could get into the first eleven and take the league by storm.

I personally would prefer him to Malcom.

I think people are underestimating what Lucas’ movement off the ball and pace will bring us.

It brings a completely new threat and will stretch defences so much more leaving more space for Dele, Son and Kane.

We literally need someone like this so much.

Would love to see what Poch can do with him too.

No guarantee's until it's actually signed because we have been closer than this before and it's still gone tit up, but financials already moved significantly in our favour and have been pretty much agreed. Barring a last minute 3rd party coming in and throwing money at PSG(not Moura), I'd say this one will be done quite quickly now.
Okay cheers for the info. I’m pretty excited by this. Although I still hope we go for Malcom too in the summer.

We’d have such a dynamic exciting forward line up

I'm proper excited by this! When was the last time we spent significant money in January? Was it Keane back in 2009?
