I'm one of those weirdos who doesn't really get excited about signings - I think Rafa was the last player I was really super excited about us signing, but I can really get behind this one.

...which is going to make it so much harder to take when it inevitably falls through.

I'd really welcome this signing, exactly the kind of player we should be looking at.

Fast, young, versatile, creative and - crucially - has experience of winning stuff at both domestic and international level, which is something most of our squad lack.

If we get this across the line, then our most recent two signings (Moura and Llorente) will both have brought an impressive track record of winning trophies to the club. The importance of that cannot be understated.

Chelsea are looking desperate as fuck in this transfer window. Like everyone they try for is telling them to go outside and play with the traffic.

That is a complicated picture he's painting though. It's weird that Dortmund would want Moura to replace Auba, they're not really similar players at all.

It's quite odd yet hilarious to see that both Dzeko and Palmieri have seemingly rejected Chelsea (with the later previously agreeing then backing out).

Tottenham & Lucas Moura agree on 4-year contract
Tottenham Hotspur have completed a provisional four-year contract agreement with PSG winger Lucas Moura ahead of a possible transfer this month, according to RMC.

Lucas was in London yesterday for a tour of the club’s facilities and to meet with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

Spurs accepted Moura’s salary demands with little hesitation, according to the report. PSG continue demand €25m excluding bonuses for the former Sao Paulo man.

Now, it is down to the clubs.
Yeahhhh, lets keep fucking about giving other melts time to come in and grab him.

I think also it's worth dwelling for a second on his similarities with Dembele. Lucas Moura can retain and keep the ball in the squad through some of the same movements as Dembele, but if I'm not terribly mistaken, at a higher pace. It would be like bridging Dembele and the Duracell bunny.

I would laugh so hard if Dortmund refuse to sell Auba because we’ve signed one of their targets to replace him

Am I the only one who has a slight sense of foreboding that this whole complicated transfer chain will fuck us up and we'll somehow end up signing Pascal Chimbonda again?
