Newport Co v Spurs Match Thread

This is Newport away in the Cup on a pitch that has rugby played on it every week. It’s going to be physical so I totally understand his selection of our most physical players. It isn’t a footy playing surface so we’ll need to out batter them.

I agree completely. How can a world cup winning forward not be good enough to lead the line. Kane shouldn't even be on the bench.

There is a middle ground between playing a shit team and playing your best player unnecessarily before a very tricky run of fixtures.

I agree with you that it's an odd choice but I am honestly expecting nothing from those fixtures anyway, think we should go all out for the FA Cup.

United will frustrate us and if we are lucky we might get away with a draw, Arsenal game has got draw written all over it, Liverpool game I think we will lose and Juve I think is hard to call, could go either way.

I also know next weeks lottery numbers if anybody wants them?

Wait so it's alright for everyone to have an opinion and it's a forum so everyone can post their opinions but you can't post your opinion if your opinion is that people should get behind he team?

People can complain about the team but equally people should be able to say those people are going OTT if thats their opinion, because as you say it's a forum

Figured Kane would want to play and get scoring some goals in the oldest cup competition there is. Also pleased for the Newport fans who will all want to see Kane. Others coming to watch Spurs this season feel let down when he does not ply every bit as much as playing Barcelona and Messi not playing or seeing Real Madrid and Ronaldo not starting. If all goes well I can see him scoring four today
