Wanyama was absolutely dreadful. Foyth looked very shaky first half but grew into it second half. Llorente does absolutely nothing. Sissoko is just embarrassing.

We completely lost the midfield playing what’s pretty much 4 defensive midfielders and not one of Eriksen, Alli, Son or Lamela. Not one attack minded midfielder. It took him 65 minutes to realise we needed an attacking midfielder today.

Some really concerning stuff happening lately.

Please sell Sissoko before the window closes

Llorente, Dier, Wanyama and Dembele were all far worse than he was today. Everyone was seriously under par though.

Played like we expected the win and thought we could get it without applying ourselves.

Even after we scored the equaliser, we immediately switched off again.

Someone needs to tell Dembele to shoot on good opportunities.

Someone needs to tell Wanyama to not shoot on any opportunity.

Good for Newport. The money they'll get will be huge for them and they deserve every fucking penny. Coached and played brilliantly.

We were dire. And we will pay for it. But the performance inhere is not much better in here. It's like Sissoko has turned everyone's brain to mush. Clearly our best player in the first half and hardly our worst in the second yet every single possession or perceived mistake is obsessively leapt on by frothing hordes - when worse mistakes, made more often by players with far more ability are ignored. It's dispiriting seeing one player so obviously the target of hate and bile when it's so out of balance with relative performances on the pitch. Bizarre.

We can't play without left sided players on the left. The moment Son came on to complement Verts we looked so much better. And again when Davies came on.

. The game isn't representative of where we are as a club,
All I know is that we've thrown away one cup, nearly thrown away another through lazy, arrogant performances. We've also thrown away quite a few points in the league against lower sides for the same reason, jeopardising our chance of more CL (we're not going to win the CL obviously), So, I kinda think this result is representative of where we are, at least this season.

I am hoping this is a blip due to no home ground, other sides getting stronger, etc. But the fact is that the players have let Poch down this season so far. With the exception of Kane and maybe Son, they simply haven't put in anywhere near the effort that they put in the past two seasons and I think that needs to be recognised.

Looking at a positive, at least Moura now has a chance to play against the mighty Newport

Really not sure if I can be bothered to go to the replay, getting to Wembley for a night time kick off can be such a pain in the backside

Depending on ticket price, it might end up cheaper to just write off the cost of the ticket

We got so lucky today to get that draw, but wow that was a shameful performance, really was.

Not one player was any good today IMO, after the performance v Southampton, then this I worry for us on Wed and next Sunday especially

And as for this squad doesn't need Moura, PMSL, did you watch that team today, we had a strong 11 out there today. The replay just before playing Arse is not great at all but at least we are still in it

We win nothing this year though IMO, we just don't have the right mentality yet players or coach.

No they weren't.

Maybe Dembele, who was also shit.

The problem with Sissoko is he's very very dumb. His off ball movement is without a doubt the worst I've seen in a player.

Llorente has been a hopeless signing. It really is embarrassing that we had to start Kane next to him as he's incapable of performing on his own up top against a league 2 side. I thought he was a decent smart signing at time, it hasn't worked and he's now a worthless member of the squad that needs offloading.
