You just know we're going to fix Chelsea's weakness whilst leaving ourselves short.

According to kicker, Dortmund are back in the running for Giroud because Chelsea prefer Llorente.

Good. Giroud actually scores plenty of goals (last minute winners, too) in the PL. Llorente has done nothing this season and there's nothing to suggest he'd do anything for Chelsea either.

If we can recoup what we paid for Llorente, or even make a profit, AND find an adequate replacement by Wednesday evening then I don't see why anyone would be against him leaving...

If we are going to sell Llorente to them, surely we either are getting something in return or have something lined up, the backlash of helping them for no reason will be extreme.

Could Llorente be a piece in a different trade scenario? Just before hearing about Llorente, Icardi posted Adios and Chau on social media. Maybe Llorente is a domino in Icardi going to RM.

because its llorente lol, although having said that, they do like to cross a ball from out wide more then we do, so i can see why they want him

He's good player. Proven at all levels throughout his career. Just because we haven't been utilising his strengths isn't his fault.

If Chelsea buy him and use him correctly, which they probably will as Conte has worked with him previously, he will be a dangerous weapon. And we will regret it.

Even though we havn't played to his strengths I havn't been impressed with his all round contribution.

He's a very good player but for some reason the effort hasn't been there, just doesn't seem to want to compete enough, I've literally watched him losing aerial challenges that should be his bread and butter.

Regardless of whether Llorente does well there or not, if they don’t get him they will only get Giroud instead who is simply a better option for them. In some ways therefore we are not strengthening them.
