I think my first post on this website was to moan about us signing Llorente, it just never meant any sense at all. It's not Llorente's fault, we don't play to his strengths at all. I think this was Poch's signing and that makes it all the more bafflng as surely he knew we don't play long balls or cross much.
If we can swap Llorente for Batshauyi as people on here are speculating, that would be incredible business. Batshauyi fits the type of football we play and would make an instant impact

All for giving players time to settle in but what's really surprised me about Llorente has been his complete lack of appetite to really make an impact.

I know it's not always easy getting sporadic playing time, all the more reason to make the most of your opportunity.

It's like he's accepted his bit part role and it's affected his motivation.

Someone once made the point that the new training facility was one of the worst things which could have happened to our club, as it made bit part players entirely content to simply enjoy the amenities, and even some of the starters who knew they were unlikely to push on to bigger clubs. Definitely entirely possible in this case.

Rondón has been heavily linked with Liverpool

Rodriguez would make more sense than Rondon as Llorente's replacement. Don't think he's great but does cover multiple positions and will put a shift in.

Arsenal try and push Giroud to Chelsea so the Auboomerang deal can go through. Levy phones Chelsea up, and offers them a great price on Llorente as an alternative on the condition they sell Batshuayi to us. We've upgraded our backup striker, Dortmund lose their replacement at the last minute and refuse to sell, and Levy has completely screwed over the Arse.
