Why are people worried about selling a player (who did nothing for us) to a rival?? He may suit Chelsea better but I'd much rather take the coin and improve ourselves because he ain't improving Chelsea by much, if at all.

It does when you consider it's Spurs/Chelsea.


Which is annoying because we have a striker they want, and they have a striker who would better suit our system. Nevermind!

Replied to a comment on twitter about a replacement with "who said there hasn't been one found already?"

And followed it up with "the replacement is not Son. That is all"

What if Chelsea have the same feeling towards Bats as we do towards Llorente? In the regards that they don't think he is good enough for them and they'd be happy to trade as they think they are getting a better option?

Merry-go-round: Giroud was lined up to replace Aubameyang at Dortmund then got offer from Chelsea & was keen, so Dortmund turned to Batshuayi. But Chelsea baulked at Giroud fee so discussed Batshuayi/Llorente swap with Spurs, which nobody agreed on. Deadlock#AFC#BVB#CFCTHFC

Fwiw I would absolutely love a swap with chelsea for Llorente/Cash for Batshuayi just to screw the Aubameyang deal

Ornstein has just said us and Chelsea were talking about swapping Bat and Llorente but Bat rejected as he didn't want to be back up. Maybe we have tonight convinced him?

To be fair to Batshuayi, he'd be going to spearhead Dortmund's attack whereas he'd probably be used sparingly for us. But all this uncertainty and indecision is preventing some deals. Some in our favour.
