I reckon they're still waiting for him to decide on a shirt number so they can have it printed on his hi-vis jacket and hard hat when he's photographed on the site of the new stadium. Then they'll announce it. Safety first.

I remember when the Lloris transfer was announced, an hour or two before the deadline at midnight. And then did immediately released an interview of him, in full Spurs kit, at full daylight. It was signed for hours.

Sometimes I think Levy just likes this deadline day drama.

Not to be an insufferable pendant, but I do believe humanity will manage even if Tottenham don't sign Lucas Moura.
I would not be so sure:

MOSCOW (AP) — A plague of locusts could destroy the fields in World Cup stadiums this year, the Russian government said Wednesday.

Locusts often feast on crops in southern Russia and the person who oversees plant protection at the agriculture ministry said they could descend on stadiums, too.

The end of times is nigh!

As cynical as it is and obviously I am not the first to suggest it but leaving the announcement until late in the day will minimise the amount of complaining that this will be the only signing.
