Not the best half I've seen us play. Quite naive in some of the decisions made about when to try and play it out rather than safe. That said we do look capable of scoring, especially with a couple of change - I think Winks for Dier and Lamela for Dele could make a fair amount of difference.

Yeah take off one of the midfield trudgers and bring on someone who can spot a pass. We don't need muscle against this lot, just got to play around the press.
Would do that and go 4-3-3 and if Dele doesn't improve take him off for Winks later.

How the fuck we are still in this, is the only thing we can say.
The problem is Poch is probably one of the worst managers in the PL for turning games around at HT and making early changes....
We are still in it, if he is brave and makes the right decisions but IMO this is done already, hope I'm wrong

No defensive midfielder against Liverpool when we are already 1-0 down so can't play on the counter? I think that would be madness.

It really hasn’t, Liverpool could have 3 or 4 at this point.
We have been sloppy on and off the ball and this is coming from someone who wasn’t confident up until about the 22nd minute when I realised it’s another one of “those days”

Holy fudge our entire right side is horrible today. Dier is found out. I've been going on and on about how he must hone his skills, he can't be a chameleon for ever.

We're so desperate to keep possession under pressure. Seriously hoof it the fuck out of there. Against shit teams that don't press it's one thing to play it out but not here on this ground.

Our play when out of possession was just about as bad as I've ever seen it under Poch. We were completely rattled by the early mistake from Dier and never managed to regain our composure.
I would say that we need to sit back and invite them onto us and try to hit them on the counter, but having the lead they have no reason to open up and leave gaps to exploit. That early goal completely fucked up our ability to execute the obvious game plan.
Hopefully Poch can get them focused again at half time, at least we're only down one and can change the game back in our favor in an instant.
