Obviously lawro would say Salah goal was better (which it wasn’t).Big Vic’s was 1 in a thousand type strike.

I can't believe how two former pros Lawro and jenas just don't know the rules, how did they play football, it's crazy

And then the guy tells them the rules and they just ignore it ffs

Actually it's lawro I suppose
Almost nobody who's played really knows the rules. I mean, the broad strokes, yeah, but the little intricacies, no. That's why players are always complaining at the referee. But as a pundit, poor, IMO. They should know what they're talking about before words come tumbling out.

As an aside, I know we all admire the way rugby discourages talking to the referee. Funnily enough, they've made it even more of an emphasis this year to not have players speaking to the referee or complain about decisions aloud. I really wish FIFA/the FA went the same route.

Is it just me that thinks that Salah goal was decent, but not worth the massive outpour of "goal of the season" etc?

when you look, he's beaten Davies and cut inside a flat footed Vertonghen. Despite there being 4/5 players around him he only actually beats 2.

great finish and not saying it isn't a great bit of skill. But some are really going over the top with it. Give me a Wanyama thunderbastard all day

If one of our players did what Salah did, we'd be all over it. Was a cracking goal.

Watch what Lloris does again. I’ve seen it again on MOTD it’s fucking mindless
He came at it too quickly, had already decided he was going to head it clear, and maybe should've just let it go out of play; but you can't cater for the brilliance that followed from Salah.

It's all fluff and noise to drown out the fact that Klopp's Liverpool were comprehensively dominated by Spurs in that second half. None of Klopp's changes had any affect whatsoever on our dominance and when Wanyama's goal went in, there really only seemed one likely winner.

The so-called "controversial penalty" was missed - which actually got Liverpool back in the game. Before that they were bereft.

Klopp pulling a Mou and doing it beautifully.

Surely if Loren deliberately plays the ball miskick or not Harry Kane is onside but if he is off side then so the fuck is slash when dier plays him in in the second poxy minuit ???
The GunsRoses lead guitarist plays for Liverpool? Must be part of the heavy metal football there.

Wanyama's goal > salah's goal

All day long
this. putting aside club allegiances, wanyama's strike is a once in a lifetime hit. gary neville just moaned when it went in. salah's goal was great skill, don't get me wrong, but wanyama's goal was a true thunderbastard (macintosh tm) that almost took the net off the moorings. what a strike.

Both goals were great in their own different ways.

Because it was offside when they played and they don't want to accept that rules change over time. You'd think a professional football pundit would consider knowing the laws of football to be part of their job...

It’s a dent to them, if they beat us today they would have had the wind five points clear, and they would have avenged Wembley the narrative they adopted after City. Now rather than a late winner it’s a late equalizer. A very deflating result for them now maybe the wind is with us.
