Tottenham vs. Everton, West Ham, Burnely and Brighton proved that Aurier is a very good RB that we are fortunate to have. Imagine that we have both Trippier and Aurier. Some just won't be satisfied.
Apologies if this has already been posted, but Ferdinand in the studio game analysis, said he'd seen Aurier quite a few times, even before he joined us, and doesn't rate him as a good defender at all. If he's going to make it with us, Poch will need to really coach his decision making big time.
Bet if Aurier played for ManU then Rio would be singing a different tune.
Honestly don't think so. He's dug out their defenders on a number of occasions this year.
Serge is often just reckless imo, not the greatest trait in a defender.
Why is this about Trippier vs Aurier? Trippier has been brilliant recently. But some people seem to be using that as a dig at anyone who rates Aurier. Bizarre.
Luke Shaw, Nathaniel Clyne, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies.
Not sure why you've listed those full backs but if he gets back to full fitness I would love Clyne at Spurs.
Always been a massive fan of his since his Palace days.

He over-reacts to pressure at the moment. He panics and lunges in if he thinks a player will get past him and that isn't a good trait for a fullback. The problem can be alleviated to a large extent if his positioning gets better which should be relatively easy to coach. Other than that, he needs to learn to stay on his feet at all costs. Any sliding tackle these days gives the Ref a decision to make. I also think we're much better with a back 3, particularly when Toby gets back, and that allows the CB on each side to cover the FB from a closer starting point.
...agree - Aurier has to learn to use his feet to get back into position when he is beaten and not dive in rashly from behind with a last-ditch effort...if he can fix his positioning and decision making, his athleticism will make him an asset at RB...

Surely right now KWP is lower risk to play than Serge
Nothing I’ve seen in KWPs game suggests he is anywhere near as reckless as Serge who does this every crazy lunge thing every other game it seems
