As soon as we kill off the game with 2nd goal and bring it to the end safely, I am totally fine with it. No need to murder everyone. Once again I would remind of how Sir Alex used to win loads of trophies, while Klopp can't win shit with Pool, yet trashing teams 4-0 lots of time.

Just on my way home from the game. Not going to get many easier wins than that. Huddersfield looked like they only came to lose 2 nil.

Today Kane didn’t score but it was one of those games where he sacrificed himself for the team. He worked so hard and probably should have got a couple (we are used to him getting them) that on another day he would of. Hopefully he’s saving them for Wednesday.

Only 30 pages?? Lowest I’ve ever seen a match thread!!

Good solid win, that cross from Kane from me is a highlight. Honestly I’m more impressed with Kane’s long passing ability than his goals

But Lamela was dreadful when he came on?

I don't get why Poch tries to play him out wide, Lamela's position is in the middle behind the striker, in the middle of the park in the final third is where he is most dangerous and he by far looks his best there. He should have put Eriksen out wide when Lamela came on he does a better job out there.

I think it is quite satisfying that on a rare day when Kane doesn't score others step up so it shows we do have some decent squad depth.

Strange that no one has picked up the absolutely blatant penalty we should have had when Son got pulled down.

Could see clearly from the upper tier that the defender had his hand around his ankle. I was actually laughing.

Lame performance from the ref today, totally buying I to the diving rep bollocks. Which is hilarious as I saw Davies win two very clever freekicks... He just knows how to go to ground convincingly.
