Ahh well I don't think you can put it down to all new fans getting tickets but I agree to an extent. In fact it's a lot of the older fans that can afford it. Imagine being a young 18 year old? No chance.

Ive a 1,200 season ticket in club wembley. So im not skint by any means.
But to charge that sort of money for bog standard seats behind the goal is a piss take tbh

Its almost like people think we're moving into a 62k crumbling WHL. This stadium is going to be state of the art with an improvement in almost every aspect imaginable - of course its going to cost more than our old STs did. How much they should go up and where is a valid debate but it was always going to me more expensive.

No more queuing up for a piss for all of half time for 3 overflowing urinals and a sink. No more 15 minute queue at the one tiny bar for an entire tier for a lukewarm Carlsberg and plastic hotdog at half time, served by 2 people trying to manually add 7.90 + 3.35. We'll have actual options for food before the game, places to go and drink inside the stadium and watch early kick offs, plus club museums, massive club shops, modern entertainment facilities etc.Live sport is an experience now in modern stadiums and it costs money to build.

Also the argument about plastic fans doesn't wash with me for one, everyone eats and drinks before the game and enjoys different experiences, now you have shit loads of options to do it in and around the stadium complex. If you choose to go down the Bell & Hare etc thats your call, but not everyone wants to spend £5 on a can of beer sold out the back of a garage when they can get a fresh pint inside the ground and not have to worry about beating the queue to make kickoff!

They've completely shafted younger fans that used to have their season ticket in a parent's name as a second season ticket. It was totally normal and common for a parent to have two STs in their name. But because we only changed the name on the ticket to mine later on i'm in phase 4, even though i've had my ST for 19 years and have nearly 550 LPs.

Levy will have seen supporters regularly forking out for over-priced pies and beer at Wembley this season, and that will provide the benchmark for what the prices will be at NWHL. My prediction is that we will win the titles for the most expensive season tickets in the PL next season and the most expensive pies. The "fresh pint" at WHL will be around £6, I reckon. Still cheap for most of our continental supporters...

I can just about stomach £6 for a pint of Gamma Ray.

absolutely no excuse for not keeping toby or harry on a decent contract. If we cant pay our star centre back 150k a week, levy can go feck himself.

You should have seen the Bournemouth players car park yesterday. Puts ours to shame. Surprised we can afford the minimum wage

Has this been confirmed by the club?

Just checked and we have had our 3 tickets since the 06/07 season (making next season our 13th), have 440, 620 and 660 loyalty points and are all in phase 4?

I think they’ve fucked it up. I’ve had two since the same season as you but have one in phase 3 and one in phase 4. They should both be in 3 and yours should be in 3 instead of 4. It’s a balls up.

This is the concern to me. As great as the old WHL was, its limited seating and season tickets to a degree blocked out the ability for all our swathes of younger 16-25 year old fans to get season tickets etc. The type of guys at a stage in their life where they have the freedom to go to all away matches, generally piss about and drink lots and help create atmosphere in the stadium.

Latterly, the old WHL could still have an absolutely terrific atmosphere at times, but the new stadium I hoped would be helping to open up season tickets to those above types of guys. Not just the expected increase in corporate and families, but allowing increased access to the type of fresh blood that will continue on and generate a great atmosphere for the next ten years.

Other clubs that play in bigger stadiums and have a little less demand than us, have no problem with fresh blood attaining season tickets - places like Sunderland, Newcastle etc.

There is a chance that this pricing simply takes a lot of them out of the game

So if the huge price increase is paying for the facilities, I'm sure we can expect the prices for food and drink to be very reasonable then...

There will also be a cheese bar at the new stadium, something fans would do well to remember before piping up with churlish complaints about their season tickets going up by 50%.

In a twitter poll of 2.5k 43% have said the prices are fine as expected. 37% said high 20% ridiculously high. The club would probably take that response. 43% surprised me especially reading here and twitter. I was expecting a £200 hike that’s pretty much what I’ve got.

Sorry if this has been asked but does anyone know how many thousands are in each phase, particularly between 1 and 4?

Somethings definitely gone wrong. Why do you say we should be phase 3? If the brackets are as poster earlier we should be 1?

I have had three season tickets for over 30 years some ten years or so ago they made me transfer two of them into my sons names as i could only own one. Now i am in phase 2 and they are in phase4. That means we wont be able tp sit together unless i get worse seats then before.
The club say they can only give phases for as long as they see the season ticket holder has had them in their name . what a load of fucking wankers.
This is a disgrace as they are splitting families up who have sat together for decades, there are thousands who are in the same situation.
This is the most criminal aspect of their phasing. It’s ripping families apart. Since mid-day I’ve heard of countless examples of this. Actually turns the stomach.
