The £995 season tickets work out to over £52 per game. That's probably £50 for a Cat B, and £40 for a Cat C (and therefore £67 for Cat A). I bet there will be a lot of games where people are seriously tempted to take forty or fifty quid and watch it on the telly. Midweeks, early kick-offs, the ones near Christmas, nearer the end of the season if we're not competing for much in the league. Especially if there's no atmosphere, it makes it really hard to justify. I could take that £50 and have a top day out, really nice meal, loads of drinks, watch the game with some mates, go to the cinema in the evening. More to the point I could also buy the season ticket anyway, sell those games on the exchange, and use the money and loyalty points to buy £30 away tickets plus travel which would probably be more fun anyway. I doubt I'm the only one.

No guarantee people will buy it off you though

Very sad and disappointing reading all these posts for the most part

The club could really have done something great

Shame. Mind you the majority of supporters have always been treated like shit.

For me It was more excusable years ago before footy became fashionable and the TV rights have now gone mental. The % of revenue from ST these days is much less than it was back in the day

The club do not need to fleece the 20k hard core anymore but still choose to

Spurs and football as a whole really need to get round a table and sort some shit out. Starting with a salary cap and restrictions on agents

The game really is heading for a big fall in the near future

It might actually be better to be a member than a ST holder. You should get tickets easy enough for the majority of games.

I dont think you can blame agents and players. Chairman are just as greedy if not more so.

Anyone else still waiting for their email?

I was hoping for a Season Ticket in the Shelf Lower, had one there for 10 years + before I emigrated to NZ & gave it up.
Moved back to England & got a season ticket at Wembley but it looks as though about all that will be left will be up in the gods or crazy money.

Im gonna change my opinion. If someone said to me when we had Jol, if you pay an extra 300 quid a season to play champions league football and keep Harry Kane. then play in this.....I think id bite their hand off. Fuck it, lets enjoy it.

As forecast, those of us in the East stand are getting substantial increases, mainly because our seats were reduced at OWHL on account of the pillars, the low-grade facilities and the poor access. Now we have the same facilities and view as everyone else, so we've lost that discount.

But we've also had the two cup matches excluded, which is rather sneaky. Last season, including the 19 home league matches and 2 cup matches, my seat worked out @ £47.14 per match (£990 / 21 matches) . I was in Block G, East Upper, level with the edge of the penalty box near the Park Lane end. Next season, an equivalent, similarly-located seat in Block 529 will work out @ £69.73 per match (£1,325.00 / 19). That's an increase of 48% in two seasons.

I'd be interested if anyone has a match day photo from WHL from the furthest seat back that someone good with potato chop could re-scale it to the same size as the image above or below.

People saying they'll get crap seats because they may up in the gods i'm not certain they're grasping the distance to pitch from the old lane or their Wembley experiences.

The prices are a different argument altogether.

Forgive me i don't know how much further back you could go from here. Says Row 22 and i may have cocked this up but...

Still waiting over here but am really wondering if I can afford it. £60 a ticket (if I am lucky enough to get one at that price) plus flight, hotel etc is a bit pricey.

Sorry but if anyone thought that kop end would be "intimidating" then you've been had imo. The club want the away fans away from the "vocal support" for a reason and that reason is at 15 minutes before every London derby on park lane corner.

Untill safe standing is introduced that kop will have vocal support but no where near "intimidating" especially with those prices.

I mean I've been sitting in park lane for years and if we're being honest, the amount of families etc that rocked up in there changed the stand for the worse. Still decent compared to other parts but nothing like when I first went in there.

Probably my fault :cautious:
I agreed with this bit...

Anyone not expecting the new stadium to cost an arm and a leg, and to be a challenge to allocate the vast demand for season tickets, was and are delusional.

One of the most state of the art stadiums ever built in the world, a huge fan base that is much, much larger than I think a lot of people realise. I think you have to be fair with getting the balance between long standing fans, and a new, younger fanbase at the matches. Also the corporate aspect must be catered for, its how half of these type of stadiums make their money back.
