A couple of questions - please does anyone know:

1.) Can you buy a senior ticket and then pay extra for each game an adult goes in place of the senior?

2.) Has exact seating been set aside for season ticket holders? i.e. if everyone on the list renews and you are the last person to renew in Phase 8, will you essentially have no choice in which seat you get?

Probably been mentioned before but did they really need to produce 40ks worth of brochures? Maybe an option to opt in if you wanted to receive a physical copy?

The amount of money spent on posting the exact same info I was emailed a day before seems so pointless... Another expense covered by the ticket price increase no doubt.

Spare a thought for those of us in the Print Industry who need orders like that to be able to afford a season ticket...

Not everyone is hugely computer literate and given that the window is so small for some (phase 7 for instance is just three days) the club is covering it's arse if it sends by more than one medium. Besides, 40k brochures isn't really that costly for a corporation of THFC's sicze, plus the ticket price insert comes in handy if you run out of bog roll.

No guarantee that the allocation of 1882 season tickets will be taken up by the current season ticket holders. Why pay £2200 for a free drink and food and an inferior view when you can be on the halfway line for £1995 and take your own sandwiches !! It would appear from the view your seat app and the seating plan map that a current ST holder can choose anywhere in the ground apart from middle tier and away section. The ground holds 62000 less 3000 away allocation , less 8000 hospitality seats , less the approx 1000 seats for 1882 that should leave around 50000 seats available to the current 41060 season ticket holders which should mean ample choice. Of course there may be a plan to limit the choice and only make certain numbers of seats available in each section to current season ticket holders so that when all price levels have sold the club could say we only have £2200 ST's left available but of course if no one is prepared to take up the offer they may have to think again.

You must have read my mind, scary thought, coming up with these relevant questions. So does anyone have an idea?

Silence peasant, the elite are conversing.

I could, if I chose to (and kept it a secret from my wife) buy a £2,200 ticket. It would hurt a little and I might need to use either my bonus or a bit of credit. But it could be done. I'm not a peasant nor am I wealthy. I sit i the middle and have time for both.

Well, hang on a minute. I have a huge mortgage and bills. I am self employed. I have to have a budget. I have spent the past year budgeting for this season ticket based on what I paid at Wembley (since I figured that was most likely a guide for what we would pay in the new stadium) and now I have to pay 30% or more extra? That's 4-5 electricity bills right there.

I don't know what you do for a living, but personally I had a lot more disposable income in my 20s than I do now at 40.

In other words, everyone's circumstances are different. I've waited years and years to have a season ticket and swallowed Wembley to finally get one. Now I am in a situation where I don't know if I will be able to get one in my budget range because of my other commitments. How can not see how frustrating that is? A year at Wembley just to go back on the waiting list (especially considering I live 30 mins from WHL and an hour from Wembley)?

I have a mortgage, a child, a mid income job now.
In my 20's I earned a shit salary in London with nigh on £20k of debt through stupidity in my teen years. I used to struggle to pay my debts each month let alone have spare cash sadly. My own fault for getting myself in to the debt but also my former employers fault for convincing me I was on a fair salary!
There's plenty of other youngsters out there though trying to make their way in the world and don't have much money. Students, ex students with loans, young parents (why anyone would do it young is beyond me!) etc.

No matter what Spurs charge for a ticket, there will always be people who can't afford it from all age groups for all different reasons. If some one said to me that they simply cannot afford any season ticket this coming season, anywhere in the stadium, when they could be before, I would feel sorry for them.
But complaining because they can't afford sit in a prime view seat, with the best facilities in the stadium - tough.
I can't afford a Lamborghini, boohoo.

Well, I get your last sentence. I'm in the situation where I'm just hoping to get any seat within my price range. That said, there are many fans who have been going years that have sat with their mates, or made friends with people near to them, who want to try and keep that in the new stadium and we now have a situation where groups of fans who have been together for years may be split up or some have to drop out. Aren't they entitled to feel a bit cheesed off?

The problem I have with all this is that it screws over long term fans. You've got that fans who have been ST holders for years suddenly priced out. Then you've got people like me who has been on the waiting list for years and swallowed Wembley, who is further down the phases who may also be priced out, only to be replaced by some shitbag who has only spent a couple seasons on the waiting list at best. As a member and fan I've spent about 20k going to games. Those ahead of my in the pecking order have probably spent a good amount more than that. You really, honestly think long term fans aren't entitled to feel undervalued? I, like many members and ST holders, am a veteran of the shit years in the 90s. We've stuck through the club through the shit times and now Levy's attitude is "screw 'em, they'll be easily replaced".

And just as an aside, as a Jew I hate the fact that Levy is reinforcing the stereotype of the ruthless Jewish businessman ripping off people for every last penny. It's something that has always annoyed me about him.

It’s the bottom end of the market where the problem is, not lack of access to the cheese bar. People who were just scraping by to get the worst seats in the ground are getting priced out, not just a little, but a lot. I had the cheapest ticket at the Lane. Gonna cost me a couple of hundred extra now as I’m in phase two and I don’t expect the similarly priced tickets to be available due to the fact there’s fuck all of them. I’ve budgeted for this by not going to any cup games this season (so I’ve missed the wins over Real, Dortmund and the mighty Rochdale), holding on to my existing mobile after my contract expires, rarely go out and ditching Sky in favour of a cheaper alternative. All this just to get my foot in the new fancy turnstile for another year. Because when I was in my 20s the £430 I paid for my season ticket seemed like a manageable expense. Now my way of life 20 years later is pricing me out. This isn’t a luxury thrust upon me. I work and make sacrifices to get my seat.

I've been on the interactive map looking through all the price points in different areas. Interesting that these seats are £500 apart

You can transfer your ticket to a family member but not sure about paying the extra, if the entrances are like Wembley with bar code scan with nobody checking ticket wouldn't worry about paying the extra, my Grandson 23 years old booked a junior ticket through Spurs online ticketing for the Chelsea game at Wembley so got in at half price, no one checks.

On the second point according to the brochure the interactive stadium map is going to be updated with sold seats daily during the sales phase so you can check what's available but not sure if exact seating has been allocated.

Another complaint about the season ticket prices , in the brochures I do seem to be able to find a season ticket price for the craft beer tap room.

Apparently if you get the 1882 tickets a buxom maiden covers your eyes moments before the opposition score

Which would represent value for money if we still had Fazio in defence, but nowadays better value to be had getting a moderately sized mortgage priced ticket and going down The Griffin.
