Will they have everyone's from before 2006? When you might have paid yourself, or had someone else pay for you, who may or may not be related to you and may or may not still be alive. And when the payment might have been by cheque, or by a card or bank account that's long since expired? That's all on top of the problems we've seen already where the names on tickets have changed and the like. I expect that the club moved to ticketmaster and got rid entirely of their own ticketing operation and associated data, and even if it is still there piecing it back together might be a lot easier said than done. Unless there's clear and consistently accessible records it's fairer not to use them at all.

Unde the new data protection laws coming in they HAVE to know what records they have for people and the fines for getting it wrong can be huge. Given that, I’m assuming it can’t be as big a mess as is often suggested.

Going to do this with screenshots. Dougal/mods, maybe pin?

First, you DO NOT NEED THE EMAIL SAYING YOUR WINDOW IS OPEN.

Go to:

www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium at around 9.30am NOT 10am so that you can get ahead in the doughnut of death queue. 9.30am is approximate.

After

You'll get this screen:
Capture_50.png

Chuck in your client reference and password. If you really are trying to beat the rush, type it out somewhere else, copy your reference or your password and paste it in to save a valuable few seconds. Then log in.

You'll be signed in and the screen won't look much different but you'll be logged in on the side:

cap2_50.png

Click BUY NOW! and let's get Daniel Levy above the 3 million a year salary mark.

You will see a stadium map appear, (it might take a couple of seconds to show in the white box):

cap3_50.png

Now, click the block you want and you should get zoomed in like below.

cap4_50.png

Bear in mind that the orientation of the blocks is relative to how it looks as if the east stand is at the top, the west at the bottom, the south at the right and the north at the left, (just like our usual stadium map from WHL). So the front row of the south in block 206 as shown is the left hand where it meets that green bit representing the pitch. The back of that block, higher up, is the right. If I had shown you a north block, it would be the other way around.

Hover your mouse over a BLUE dot. BLUE = AVAILABLE SEAT but GREY = TAKEN SEAT.

My screenshot function doesn't show the cursor but your cursor (mouse arrow) will look like the back of a hand with all fingers open. When you 'successfully' hover over a blue dot, it becomes a pointed finger. Click the blue dot to select your seat. You will then get an option of what concession you want or adult if you are an adult. In non concession sections, only the adult option will appear:

Click the button where it says £50.00 next to the relevant category.

You will either get an error message saying that it is no longer available, if this is the case, swear, increase your blood pressure. Create hatred and animosity to the club, Levy, Ian Murphy and Donna, feel ripped off and overall angry, then repeat the process in a mildly panicked state on another seat, (or you'll be fine first time around). Once finally successful, the bottom of the screen will change as shown with your highlighted seat now a red dot. (If you select more than one seat at this stage, you will have multiple red dots):

cap6_50.png

On the bottom right, click BUY TICKETS.

Assuming again no clashes or errors, you will get to the payment page with a timer at the top (more than enough time) to purchase. Note on my screenshot, it says assign member. It will either automatically assign it to the lead ticket holder signed in, or it will require assigning to others in your season ticket network. Obviously if you are buying multiple tickets, all of them will show in a list on this page:

cap7_50.png

Assuming you are on this page, the ticket is reserved against your name and removed for sale until payment is either made or the timer runs out. Don't blame me if bugs creep in that doesn't happen, but in theory it should.

Good luck you daft gits who are wanting to spend crazy money on the 'Tottenham Hotspur Experience' and don't screw up like me, get sold out for being about 5 seconds late on an excellent 1500 seat in the west and end up going for a 1995 seat in the east where I'll probably have the sun in my eyes and be a pain in the ass to get to which I can only JUST afford and got it in a fecking panic.

We're all just a bunch of mugs aren't we. :)

Excellent post. Do we ever get to see how much we are paying for the season ticket at the point of purchase or do we need to know the prices beforehand?

Agreed very helpful, can you tell me at what point you opt for gold or silver?

IIRC, the final price shows on the basket page, somewhere around my final screenshot. Either way, the final price bit is not written particularly clearly and is sort of thrown at you somewhere at the end. Apologies, I can't seem to bring it back up again (especially as I'm posting at 9.51am before phase 2 opens) but possibly because I have already bought my ticket.

As far as I can see, the gold and silver system seem to have been scrapped, but platinum still remains according to all literature. There is no mention of loyalty points bonuses for gold/silver anywhere.

The club have stated that season ticket holders can sign up to an 'auto pay system' (the equivalent of gold) at a later date, probably after the final payment window in May or June. Bear in mind I don't think individual match ticket prices have been announced yet, and definitely nothing about loyalty points bonuses for renewals.

Mate sent this for future reference...

Sorted Fortunately, logging in at about 9.15 allowed me to lock the seats out to anyone else, even though I couldn't assign yet. I could assign to you with about three minutes left before the transaction timed out

I was logged in and freaking out because everything in the block I wanted had already gone, but now I'm in the doughnut that hasn't moved, and I haven't had the email from Tottenham. Supposed to be at a meeting 5 minutes ago:cry:

Am I right in saying that the phases don't open at 10am like they said? seems a few are saying they allocated tickets well before that time.

We have had our season tickets more than 30 years! Not so young any more and don’t get to away games. So not many loyalty points.

In the past we have followed Spurs all over the UK. Been to Vienna, Brussels, Prague, Kaiserslautern. Amazing memories - does anyone remember the ‘girls’ who bought all the shoes in Kaiserslautern? A trip to Liverpool in 1986 when WE FINALLY WON and my sister and I found ourselves the only two in a huge police escort from the coach to the ground. What happened to everyone else? Did you turn off the blue movies you’d planned to watch on a coach going up to somewhere when you spotted us two, the only women on the coach? Or the cup trip to Nottingham Forest watching an invisible game for 15 minutes and a horrendous journey home? Lots of memories including being privileged to watch the double winning side from The Shelf when I was 16.

We are in phase 3. 10,000 in the queue in front of us. In fact my sister was put in phase 4 even though we’d had the tickets for over 30 years. That was due to the forced name changes in 2010 but Spurs did amend this but would not move us from phase 3 even though we were only 2 points short of phase 2. Loyalty ffs - it counts for nothing!

So angry, upset, disappointed, let down. Can’t imagine life without Spurs and missing out on the excitement of the new ground but if we can’t get the seats we want this could be the end of us. OMG have I just written my own obituary!!

p.s. Came close to not renewing in the George Graham era.

Yeah I got on about 9:40 but went to pay for the ticket and it wouldn't accept payment of any card. I refreshed to try again then got the donut of death for 25 minutes! Only had 20 odd minutes to complete the purchase. When I finally got in though it still allowed me to finish off the purchase despite running out of time.
